Items brought forward from committee meetings: - Curriculum, Community and Personnel Committee Meeting: GW explained that

one item regarding the school’s swimming pool needed further discussion at this FGB meeting.

- The CCP committee had agreed that a working party needed to be re-established in order to continue and finalise the project. CP suggested that the chair of FOBs (Friends of Bampton School) would be a welcome addition to the working party because the organisation had set aside an amount of money to contribute to this area.

- Governors discussed the current status of the swimming pool and the future plans.

- Governors unanimously agreed that the local community had been fully consulted about the closure of the swimming pool and therefore the next step was to ensure the area was safe and prepared for re-purposing.

- Governors agreed this item was a priority in advance of the next health and safety audit.

- ACTION: KC and CP will gather some quotes for filling in the pool and consult ODST for advice.

- Finance, Premises and Health & Safety (FPHS) Committee: Two items had been brought forward from this committee meeting. Both items had been sufficiently dealt with and did not need further consideration.
