Learner’s e-portfolio

Migrant Associations in Cantabria as our target group have created their e-portfolio on

their previous blogs done with us during our first pilot in order to give continuity to what

they have learnt.

The purpose of the e-portfolio is to exchange abilities and competences among the

Migrant Associations as new community reporters and of course to get to know each

other better.

On their e-portfolios they tell us: ¿Who Am I? ¿What can I offer? ¿What would I like to

Process summary

During our second training, and starting from the advantage of the blogs

created at the first training the Migrant Associations had the opportunity to

create their own e-portfolio/skills exchanges.

When I first mention the terms “e-portfolio or skills exchanges” they made funny

faces because they hadn’t heard of it before, but as I started to explain what

those terms meant they realized that they had done it many times without

knowing it in a very informal way.

I could noticed they were happy and thoughtful at the same time (is not easy to

write what you think) writing in the same blogs they have made, things like what

they can do or what they can offer to other people as well as the things they

would like to do, and on the same line to tell anything they wanted to tell about

theirselves. All of this, with the purpose to share their knowledge and abilities

with others and at the same time to try to benefit from it by the exchange of

goods, skills, and time just being informal, informative and concrete; especially

now in time of crises.
