COURSE DESCRIPTION ISC² CISSP will demonstrate a broad range of skills across security policy development and management as well as a technical understanding of a wide range of security controls. This course will provide students with the necessary skills and best practices to effectively create and execute enterprise-wide information security strategies. It will also provide students with the knowledge and skills to pass the CISSP certification, after which they will have the ability to manage, operate, develop, and plan an effective network security infrastructure. This certification gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their level of competence with the various domains of the compendium of best practices for information security. PREREQUISITES To take the course, a student should have at least two years in IT and a knowledge or completion of the Security+ and Network+ courses. To sit for the certification exam, a student is required to have a minimum of five years of direct professional work experience in two or more fields related to the eight CBK security domains or a college degree and four years of experience. WHO SHOULD ATTEND This course is designed for IT professionals to learn what it takes to effectively design, implement, and manage a best- in-class security system, but it is accessible to students who have also completed the CompTIA Network+ and Security+ courses. This course is built for job roles such as IT director/ manager, security systems engineer, security analyst, security manager, security auditor, security architect, security consultant, and network architect.
