infrastructure which focuses on Oulu
university's strategical research area
"Cultural identity and interaction".
• LeaF is a roomy space for maximum
30 people, with diversified
observation equipment, various
modern terminal devices (internet
tablets, interactive video projectors,
interactive tables and boards) and
flexible fittings to allow provision for
different group situations.
• The equipment is designed for
cooperation with businesses (product
development, testing, application
development, user interaction
research, etc.) as well as for
research and teaching.

MORE recording system Mobile Multimodal Recording System
• MORE system includes: – 3 pieces of 360 degree cameras
– 30 wireless microphone and three recording computers
• MORE system creates different options for the post production and processing of the video (research) material. 360 degree video can be browsed and processed afterwards in multiple ways.
• System makes possible to pick up different speech tracks and cut video into different individual camera angles or point views from the research set up.
• 360 degree cameras are portable and can be used also with powerful laptop and portable audio interface with maximum of four sensitive microphones.
• MORE recording system have been developed by Faculty of Education, Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Humanities from the University of Oulu.
