LEADING CATEGORY IN AGRIBUSINESS ECONOMIC SYSTEM AND ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF REGENCY / KOTA AREAS IN LAMPUNG PROVINCE ABSTRACT The determination of pre-eminent category through Location Question (LQ) analysis tools and the Growth Ratio Method (MRP) in Lampung Province aims to obtain information on superior categories in the provincial and district / municipality agribusiness system in Lampung Province. The results of the research using Location Quetient (LQ) analysis tools consist of 1) Category A (Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries), 2) Category C (Non Oil and Gas Processing Industry) and 3) Category H (Transportation and Warehousing) The Growth Ratio Method (MRP) produces excellent category information to potentially increase economic growth, the flagship category is 1) Category C (Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry), 2) Category H (Transportation and Warehousing, Category I (Provision of Accommodation and Drinking) , 4) Category M, N (Company Services). Overlay is a combination of two analytical tools namely LQ and MRP, the result of combining to produce superior category in Lampung Province consists of 1) Category C (Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry) and Category I (Transportation and Warehousing). The purpose of the use of Shift Share analysis tool to find out the situation of change and shifting of economic structure of regency / city in Lampung province, and from Klassen analysis tool by using economic growth indicator and Revenue per Capita of each region as the basis of calculation obtained information of regency / advanced and lagging district / city areas. The results of superior category analysis in the region of Lampung Province on Agribusiness Economy system obtained superior categories and potential to be developed are 1) Category C (Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry) and Category I (Transportation and Warehousing) and Economic Development of Regency / City Region produce advanced area of Bandar Lampung, Lampung Tengah, South Lampung and Mesuji.
