"I have been a senior charge nurse for a number of years and had alwaysbelieved that I worked to a good standard and had a clear focus on what myrole and responsibilities were and took these very seriously in order tosupport colleagues and deliver good care to patients.

Prior to engaging in this process I could not see the above in myself anymore and felt at a loss as to what to do about this as no longer liked what Isaw in me to the point I contemplated accepting that it was time for me toleave NHS.

Being given the opportunity to have this protected time of 1:1 coaching hasallowed me to take time out for myself to reflect on me to see what I coulddo to change myself and learn of the impact this has on others but also tolearn what I can do to sustain this feeling. I not only feel back to my "usualself" I see my career not ending in a negative way and see myself as havingoptions and choices that I can make should I want to.”
