    DEDICATION

The Supreme Student Council would like to dedicate this humble piece of work to

the following people whose profound words served as our inspiration and for helping us

    in pursuing these academic endeavors.

To our almighty God for His supervision, generosity and protection as we go

through our leadership training and giving us the knowledge and determination we need.

Everything that we have, we offer back to you Lord.

Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example

in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith and in purity

    1 Timothy 4:12

    BACKGROUND

The student body is persistent to serve its purpose of existence bearing the

leadership endowment of its organization framework. As part of its activities, the Council

conducted a Leadership Training and Seminar entitled: Leadership Succession and

Sustainability together with the student organizations at the Polytechnic University of the

Philippines, Quezon City held last October 29 to 31, 2013. The council aims to empower

the student leaders of our university and consolidate the whole university through the

    leaders governing them.

    INTRODUCTION

Leaders define a group. A principal leadership causes teams to bring forth good

things in proper perspective for the organization.

The student leaders form an essential part of the population. Thus, they should be

properly equipped with knowledge and skills of being an effective and efficient leader.

Continuous development of their potential of being a leader to the extent of succession

leadership must be instilled to the youth.

There is still much that is to be done to provide continuing capacitative efforts to

ensure that these student leaders would become a very potent force for communityempowerment and development.
