Leadership Thunder Bay and the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce are excited to be hosting the fourth annual Leadercast event here in Thunder Bay on Thursday May 7, 2020. This one-day event is packed with leadership tools and learning solutions that help current and aspiring leaders to develop and enhance their leadership skills through Positive Disruption. Over the past 20 years, Leadercast has brought together some of the most recognized and respected global leaders to create a TEDx-style leadership experience unlike any other. Past speakers have included Tyler Perry, Patrick Lencioni, Dr. Jim Loehr, Malcolm Gladwell and Peyton Manning. The theme for 2020 is Positive Disruption and we are looking forward to a great lineup of speakers. About the local hosts: Leadership Thunder Bay is a program designed to help participants acquire both a broader understanding of the critical issues affecting our community and the leadership skills necessary to resolve them. It helps prepare participants for the challenges of their own life-long leadership journeys, shows how to build skills and develops awareness of the rich opportunities for leadership in Thunder Bay. Leadership Thunder Bay is a non-profit organization and any supplementary funds raised will be used towards bursaries allowing individuals the opportunity to participate in our program. The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, Member-driven organization of individuals and businesses working together to advance the commercial, financial, and civic interests of our community. The Chamber’s programs and services are designed around three pillars of Advocacy, Engagement and Empowerment and include events, research, communications and introductions to engage Members with each other and with different aspects of the community. The Chamber’s operations are entirely funded by Membership fees and the proceeds of great events like Leadercast.
