The event took place in the Bamboo Room at the Upper Bucks Campus of BCCC. A catered reception followed the presentation of awards.
The Guest Speaker for the evening was Mark Horne, Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Grand View Hospital. Horne gave an interesting presentation on the hospital’s history and current state of operations.
Rhonda Tettemer, a previous program graduate, congratulated Sandra Snyder. Both work in the office of Senator Charles McIlhinney.

Ryan Gill, from Perkasie, led off the parade and ended up winning the first place ribbon for Least Hair.
Twins Ava and Eliana Kligerman rolled away with a second and third place ribbon in the Least Hair category.
Krystina Gray, 15 months old, won first place in the Cutest Legs category.

the check to Fire Company Chief, Todd Myers, is Sue Matthias, Branch Manager of First Savings’ Riegelsville Branch. Sue’s father, Joseph Chavar, was an active member of the Fire Company for more than 58 years having served in numerous positions. The volunteer fire company reminds everyone that the public is invited to attend their monthly breakfasts held at the firehouse, served the third Sunday of every month.

Grand View Hospital announced the opening of its Health and Wellness Center located at Genesis Fitness Centre in Harleysville. The new center offers outpatient physical therapy and nutrition services and provides added convenience for the local community and Genesis members. The board of directors of Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania, parent company of Univest Bank and Trust Co. and its insurance, investments and equipment financing subsidiaries, announced the retirement of K. Leon Moyer, effective January 1, 2015. Moyer will retire as president and chief executive officer of Univest Bank and Trust Co. and vice chairman of Univest Corporation after 43 years of service. Moyer will continue to serve on the board of directors for Univest Bank and Trust Co. and be elected on January 1, 2015 as a director of Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania.
