Dear Sir,

Please refer to the above mentioned letter from PIU Dausa addressed to this office and copy

endorsed to you regard ing subjected matter. The letter is self explanatory. It is to inform you that

ETC lanes (one lane in each direction) and other requirements as stated in the above mentioned

letter are to be provided at each toll plaza.

The COS may be submitted for the items which are not covered in the scope of the Concession

Agreement as suggested by NHAI. A meeting is scheduled to be held on 14.10.2014 at 3.00 PM

at Regional Office Jaipur to review the status of implementation of ETC. You are therefore

requested to take appropriate action for implementation of ETC and submit the detailed status

r~port for appraising the progress in the meeting as ETC implementation is to be done by

December 2014 positively. The progress of other requirements may also be submitted.

Sir, Reference to above, you kind attention is invited to the letter dated 23.07.2014 (Ref.

2) vide which it was conveyed the decision of the Government to implement Electronic . Toll Collection (ETq at all toll plazas in all respect by December 2014. Further to above, a

meeting was also held under the Chairmanship of CGM (T), Regional Officer, Jaipur on 12.08.2014 wherein it was directed to provide proper infrastructure at toll plazas for ETC system by December, 2014 and to install Weigh in Motion (WIM)/ Static Weigh Bridge (SWB) induding A vee and ecrv system at aU toll plazas by March, 2015.

I am enclosing herewith the specifications and cost breakup of items in the tenders received by IHMCL for implementa tion of ETC system for l\THAI projects. These specifications and cost breakup may act as guidelines for the Concessionaires for undertaking the work of ETC lanes and complete end - to - end toll management system induding WIM, SWB, A vee and ccrv at toll plazas of the project highway.

It is therefore once again directed that ETC lanes (One Jane in each direction) and other requirements as stated above are to be provided at each toll plaza and COS may be submitted for the items which are not covered in the scope of the concession agreement. A meeting is scheduled to be held on 14.10.2014 at 3 PM at Regional Office, Jaipur to review the status of implementation of ETC. You are therefore once again directed to take appropriate action for implementation of ETC and attend the meeting on scheduled date and time with updated status.

A. Pre-requisite work for enabling ETC eqUipment installation:

1 (i) Canopy: Providing and fixing Canopy of Colour scheme of elevation of Canopy shall aesthetically pleasing design (covering be same as road signs colour, i.e., green full central portion of toll plaza area) colour.
