    Language Qualifcations

    LCCI International Qualifcations cover a comprehensive range o English languagequalifcations, which include General English, profciency tests and Business English

    aligned to the Common European Framework (CEF).

    English or Business(EFB)

    Series: Nov,April andJune and OnDemand

    Preliminary- 4

    The core examination is a reading and writing testcomprising business related tasks. These include readingcomprehension and writing letters, memos, reports.Optional speaking and listening tests also available.

    English or Commerce(EFC)

    On Demand 1-3 Written examination designed to test the ability toread, write and understand English within a generalcommercial, or industrial context.Optional speaking and listening tests also available.

    English or Tourism(EFT)

    Series: Novand April

    and OnDemand

    1 & 2 Spoken and written examinations, using authenticmaterials specically designed to develop and assess

    English within the context o tourism. Level 1 is aimedat ront line sta and level 2 is suitable or supervisorycandidates.

    English LanguageSkills Assessment(ELSA)

    On Demand All A series o prociency tests which assess Englishlanguage ability in the core language skills (reading,writing, listening and speaking). They use a single scalescoring system enabling you to test candidates o allabilities with one test. Questions are based on work,home and travel settings. Online and paper basedversions available.

    Foundation EnglishLanguage SkillsAssessment (FELSA)

    On Demand Introductory FELSA covers 3 language skills listening, reading andspeaking, and ocuses on CEF levels A1-A2. It is suitableor candidates o all ages with a basic level o Englishlanguage ability. Online and paper based versionsavailable.

    First Certicate orTeachers o BusinessEnglish (FTBE)

    On Demand Notapplicable

    Prepares teachers who already hold ELT teachingqualications with the knowledge and understandingrequired to teach Business English. It tests theknowledge o business practice and business vocabularyand understanding o applying proessional teachingmethodologies to Business English.

    JETSET On Demand Foundation- 6

    JETSET is a suite o skills based general Englishlanguage qualications. Each level consists o 3mandatory components, Listening, Reading and Writingand an optional Speaking test. The tests are available aseither JET versions (Junior English Tests suitable oryoung learners) or SET versions (Senior English Tests suitable or adult learners).

    Practical Business

    English (PBE)

    On Demand Introductory Elementary level qualication testing the candidates'

    understanding o straightorward orms o businesscommunication.

    Spoken Englishor Industry andCommerce (SEFIC)

    On Demand Preliminary- 4

    Spoken assessment conducted by a ace to aceinterview with an approved external examiner. Theexaminations cover a combination o tasks includinggeneral conversation, role plays, listening and readingcomprehensions.     LCCI Diplomas and Group Certifcates

    Group Certifcates and Diplomas are a combination o subjects in related felds thatcreate a comprehensive demonstration o ability, skills and knowledge in a specifc

    subject area. For Group Certifcates, candidates are required to pass either three or sixsubjects in the time prescribed. Diplomas consist o three to six subjects taken within12-24 months. Group Diplomas consist o a minimum o three subjects which must becompleted within one examination series or a 3 month period.

    Registration or Examinations

    LCCI examinations and assessments are available in Series world exam dates, 3 timesper year, or alternatively On Demand, where you can choose the date o the exam.

    On Demand examinations require 4 weeks notice in advance o the date the exam isscheduled to be taken. Deadlines or entries or series examinations and timetables areas published below.

    Additional notesIn some countries registration closing dates may dier rom the dates set by EDI.Regional administration by a national ofce or Coordinating Authority may also incura small additional ee. Please check with your national ofce or Coordinating Authoritywhere appropriate to determine regional registration deadlines and any additional ees.

    Additional components to exams (EB Speaking, Listening etc) must be explicitly statedwhen ordering the main component. These tests are not scheduled and may be held onany date BEFORE the main component so that they may be sent to EDI together withwritten examination scripts. It is recommended that dates or Speaking and ListeningTests are not set more than one week prior to the commencement o the Series, allowingsufcient time or papers to arrive. Results cannot be issued until Speaking and/orListening results have been received.

    On Demand Sessions incur a small additional administration ee. This is detailed on therelevant price lists, which are available rom your local agent or rom the EDI EnquiriesTeam (details on pages 20-22).

    All examinations should be conducted in accordance with the Examination Guide or LCCICentres, which is available on the LCCI website. EDI reserves the right to conduct randomvisits o examinations and retains the right to withhold results or suspend sessions in theevent o malpractice.

    Please pay careul attention to the completion o application documentation as entriescompleted incorrectly or received at EDI ater the deadline will lead to delays in

    processing and possible rejection.
