FINAL WORDS
Tony talking about his experience at ERNI Forum
On the 16th of June I was at the ERNI Forum that our new VPER Elke advertised. It was a very cool and comfortable social atmosphere. We first had some sessions on Requirements Engineering, followed by a group exercise and updates on an ongoing cooperation to make Uni lectures on that topic better. Later we split in groups where five ERNI consultants, working in mandates for the Swiss Post, gave updates on their respective projects. Apart from the topic and the more formal atmosphere, it felt a little like AIESEC. The most surprising thing was when a senior consultant was raising awareness for people who want to be trainers in soft skills (internal or for the clients). He advertised their "Train the Trainers Seminar", upon hearing which I requested his business card. I've got to know ERNI during this year's Career Days. Two months ago I was at their "ERNI Experience Day" with a friend who ended up getting a job there.
I love to go to networking events to meet new people, ask what their job is like and see which opportunities are open to me when I finish studies.
