CAL 117This is the minimum-testing requirement for fabrics sold in California. All Ergo Contract Furniture seating upholstered chairs meet CAL117 standards.

CAL 133 (TB133)The Layover task chair meets all requirements set forth in the California TB 133 landmark regulation. This regulation is intended to cover only seating furniture used in public building or public assembly areas. These areas are hospitals, health care facilities, board and care homes, convalescent homes, stadiums, licensed childcare facilities, auditoriums, prisons and jails and public assembly areas of hotels and motels. A public area can be defined as any area containing ten or more articles of seating furniture.

Cal 133 applies only to fully assembled seating products that have been tested. The Layover task chair will have the tag under-neath the seat stating that this chair meets both CAL 117 and CAL 133.
