Plan
There are two people that think they are talking to someone online that they don’t know and decide to meet at the school at night.
Both characters find each other in a classroom - jump scares
A person in a devil mask called The “Devil” who they have been talking to online traps them both in the school and hunts them down.
One character disappears.
Main character left running through halls.
Ending - Several people tied up/unconscious/covered in blood in a small room as the door shuts.
Location - The school, classrooms and sports hall

Mood board ideas
This relates to the mood board as there are different words relating to the theme of horror and aspects
of the movie which will be in it. E.g. blood, night, dead, dark etc.
There are also pictures such as people being tied up which I would like to incorporate into the film.

Evaluation
There are pros and cons regarding my idea for the movie.
One good thing about my idea is that it has a good story line that makes sense and it
brings across the message of safety around strangers, online and real life encounters.
Another good thing is that even though there is a serious message, many horror movie as-
pects are going to be incorporated into it to make it scary for the audience.
There will also be shocks and surprises so the audience get some unexpected events.
However, there are also some bad things such as some people may see it as another con-
ventional horror film and not see the message behind it.
Another disadvantage is that the actors may not be very experienced or good at acting
which might make the movie to be taken as a joke. Because the actors are inexperienced it
may make the audience bored and think of it as a bad short film.

The Devil’s Playground The ending of our short film should end with the two main characters tied up in a small dark room and
the Devil (bad guy) leaves them in that room and closes to door saying game over leaving them to die. At
the end of the film there will be flashbacks towards the start of the film where it starts and who actually
led them to the school.

Mood board linking to our idea
In my mood board I have added these pictures because it repre-
sents that all fake things can be real without people realising mak-
ing people more scared. This links to my idea because people might
think that the Devil is not real but fake this also thinks to our idea
because a lot of horror films end up with a twist ending when some-
thing un expected happens at the end. A lot of horror movies have
people tied up and people dyeing making my idea link to the mood
board even more. Blood, Night, Scary, Devil.

Evaluation
With my idea there are pros and cons for example:
Pros – In my idea there are many good things such as the story and how its going to be presented
at the end of the movie. Another good thing about my idea is that it can link to my mood board and
has a lot of things that would happen in a normal horror film. One last good thing about my idea is
that it has a twist ending meaning the audience gets the unexpected meaning they might like the
film a bit more making more people watch it.
Cons – In my idea there some disadvantages too such as it is very relatable to all different types of
horror movies because a lot of horror movies have near enough the same ending meaning it could
be a bit plain towards to ending. One other disadvantage is that the actors are not professional and
might not have a lot of experience meaning it could make the short move a bit dull and boring or
the movie could be taken as a joke.

In the short horror film we show that at the end we are going back in time to the beginning when they
talk online, meet and to see who the devil actually is and to show the parts that wasn't showed in the
short horror film the parts that explain what the story is and what happens at the end where there's a
flash back and what happens with the jumpy part at the end.

Evaluate
The good things about my idea is that it has a good twist near the end where the flashbacks comes
in and shows what’s happening in the story at the beginning the part where it doesn't show in the
short horror film. Also when it goes back in a flashback it shows the audience what the film is
about.
The bad thing about my idea is that the audience might not like this because they might think that
they should show what happens as the story goes a long but my idea is giving a twist to get the
audience entertained. Also the twist for people to see the flashback could be boring for them to
see the beginning .
