Laura ingalls wilder. Laura was born on February 7 th , 1867. She memorized a Sunday School poem in 1874. In 1883, she earned her teaching certificate. She married Almanzo Wilder in 1885. In 1889, her second child was born, but he died at twelve months old.
She published a story for the newspaper in 1911.

In 1932, she published her first children's book. It was called Little House in the Big Woods.
In 1939, her old house was turned into a museum
