Natural blossom honeyHoney is a natural product produced by bees. It is formed, when bees treat the nectar collected from the blossoms. Honey contains almost all existing microelements and important ferments (diastase, amylase, catalase, and phosphatase). It is great natural, dietetic product for improving health. WHY IS HONEY HARVESTED IN LATVIA SO VALUEABLE?

In various regions of the world the composition of honey differs, because of different flora, blooming duration, nectar development intensity and other factors. Summers of Latvia are short, plant blooming is intensive and many of them are blooming simultaneously, therefore honeybees precisely use every proper moment to collect nectar. So, honey collected in the beehives is varied and rich in composition.

• Various blossom honey: Strengthens health, rich source of vitamins and minerals, has antibacterial effect.• Various forest blossom honey: Helps treat liver, kidneys, and respiratory organs (bronchi and lungs). PHYSICAL QUALITIES OF HONEY:Colour: it can be from white or various tones of yellow to brown or dark brown. It depends from the honey source, as well as storage and processing techniques.Smell and taste: can be from gentle, barely perceptible to poignant, specific. Lighter colour honey has a weaker aroma and milder taste.

Consistence: honey is solid, treacly. It doesn’t flow of the spoon – if you spin the spoon, it will twist around it. Toughness depends on the water content in honey, as well as on the temperature and the plants from which the honey is obtained. For example, clover honey is much more liquid than the spring honey or heather honey.

Bee pollen is actually pollen from flowers that is collected from bees, as they enter the hive or is harvested by other means. Bee pollen is the main source of food for most honey bees and their larvae. It is a rich source of nutrients with 22 amino acids, 27 mineral salts, a full range of vitamins, complex carbohydrates, amino acids and over 5000 enzymes.Its richness in these nutrients may help to restore good health and energy. Bee pollen contains vitamins and minerals and is very high in protein and carbohydrates.

100% beeswax candles The beeswax is produced by honey bees. Bees use wax for honey cannikin creation. In the canisters (cells) bees store honey for winter. During burning beeswax candles, essential oils from beeswax evaporate and spread in the room. Beeswax candles clean air in the room, eliminating unpleasant odours, cigarette smoke, stuffy air in your home or office. When burning, beeswax candles spread an aroma of wax, honey and propolis. These candles are completely natural product, so their colour can vary. Beeswax candles burn much longer than paraffin candles.
