1972. Early morning in Paris. She’s smoking another cigarette, sipping a little bit of the black coffee she ordered in this random bistro. She stole her husband’s oversized sunglasses and wearing

a Fiorucci dress and a cashmere cardigan. She has amazing style and doesn’t even notice people staring at her.

This woman is my mother.

I wanted to dedicate this issue to her, because she always taught me how to be a stronger and better person and also to go beyond

my own limits. She always said that if it was too easy, I had to find a way to push my boundaries and go further.

This «Beyond issue» is also dedicated to all the people in my life that helped me to make my dream come true and here

I can share it with you.

Jack WATERLOT, was born in Paris to parents who were artists, painters and movie set decorators. He was born into a world of art and

has been surrounded by it ever since.It wasn’t very long after childhood that he was introduced to the world of fashion and he soon realized that

the industry offered the perfect blend and contrast to express his passion of photography and the world of artistic

expression that he inherited from his parents.

His goal has been to use fashion to bring forth his vision, his thoughts

and the many things that he has lear-ned and seen throughout his life.

Jack now resides in Los Angeles and is actively pursuing his career and

passion.

Both born in 1984, Stéphane and Julien live in Paris. They

are photographers as well as graphic designers for more than 10 years

and collaborate with many different clients, magazines, fashion brands or musical artists. They have run several exhibitions, released two

acclaimed books and their creations have been published in numerous magazines and web pages all over the world. In 2011, they launched their own independent publication called Muto, the Exterface Mani-

festo, in which they are in charge of all the artistic aspects.

From studying architecture to mode-ling, Silvin Barreda decided to have his life filled with imagesBeing successful as a model , he travelled a lot and his last trip to

Japan gave him the opportunity to borrow someone’s camera and give it a try. It was love at first sight and he decided then to switch his career from the bright lights of modeling to the exciting process of creating that

glamourous and deeper vision of these images he always dreamt about.

the Flavia Palmeira School, YannBoussand Larcher

assisted various international makeup artists such as Lloyd Simmons, Lucia Pica and Fulvia Farolfi. He worked on

various shows including ; Castelbajac, Tsumori Chisato, Manish Arora, Bill Storm, and Serkan Cura. Facial structures and colors compel

Yann to understand and better utilize the shapes and textures that he finds in all of his preferred brands. His gift includes not only finding and putting forth the beauty of each model but

also creating harmony with the styling and overall energy of each image.

We at Lash Magazine were delighted to give Yann the opportunity to both

express his creativity and add his own personal charm to the pages

of our magazine.

Balint Barna 20 years old is living and studying in Budapest at

Moholy-Nagy University of Art. At 18during a summer vacation in New

York, he saw Marion Testinoshooting and it gave him a new

meaning in life. He then started what he calls “this whole fashion thing”about 1 year ago. Now, he’s working

with the leading agencies inBudapest, having exhibitions like during the Fashion Video Festival.

He also works in London, shooting girls and boys as well

His main moto is to always keep his eyes wide open.

Christian Borth was born in Germany where he studied

photography, then travelled to Paris on a fellowship making the city his basecamp. Photography, he says,

is his soundtrack. While specializing in fashion and

beauty his remarkable eye for capturing landscape and moments

only adds to his dazzling photographic arsenal.

Juliet Vo is an inspired freelance fashion stylist known for

her can do attitude and eye for detail. Highly skilled at pairing clothes

and accessories in fresh and unexpected ways, Juliet also brings

to every job an aptitude for organization, forward thinking, and

results-driven commercial art, thanks to her background in corporate retail marketing. Perhaps most important

is Juliet’s ability to make clients

and colleagues feel comfortable and confident in the chosen wardrobe. The result is passionate, insightful

work that captures attention, exudes emotion, and ultimately tells a story.
