A word of appreciation I want to thank the parishioners of St. Jude who continue to support us with their constant presence of time, talent and treasure. Our parish is like any other family and I want to thank you for your faithfulness on behalf of myself Fr. Bar-tek and the entire staff. To those who made our celebrations so meaningful and holy. The choirs, the altar servers, the ushers, the office vol-unteers, the catechists, the counters, the sacristans, the lectors, the ones who care for the poor and those who choose to stay in the background quietly building and giving, and those in our councils and committees. Thank you for all that you do for our parish.

Questions for Reflection: From today’s Readings:
What is it that allowed John
to ―see and believe,‖ to have
this kind of clarity?
Does love give you
knowledge about a person, or
insights into their behavior?
Peter bore witness in a dif-
ferent manner after the Resur-
rection than he did before
Christ died.
Is the source of strength for
Peter the same source for us?
Resurrection of the Lord
THREE IN ONE We celebrate our Three-in-One God, our Creator God, Risen Son,
Holy Spirit. Every creature leads to and grows from Christ’s resurrection. Easter
changes forever the Trinitarian God’s place in all creation, including ours. If we say
―Amen‖ to Christ risen, we are adopted into God’s own family. If we accept Christ
as the way, the truth, and the life, we win the wonderful consequences. Alleluia! He
is risen as he said! Alleluia!

on Easter Monday, Have
a blessed Easter!
From the Pastor’s…..Easter Message: God’s plans often take us by surprise. In so many
situations of our lives, we don’t understand that hard times are going to produce wonderful victories. We fail to realize that the empty tombs in our lives (the losses that we grieve) are beginnings of important new growth. We cannot imagine how Jesus is going to redeem bad times into great blessings. This Easter Tide, take time to wash away your uncertainties and all your worries. Instead, embrace the opportunities that come with hard work and difficult times. Sometimes we need to be brought down to the dust from which we came, in order that we discover how full of pride and greed we can be. These are the obstacles to New Life, to true Resurrection. This past few months, many of our parishioners have experienced situations where life has been, to some degree, wiped out. The challenge to rise above the pain and suffering, whatev-er it may be, can only be overcome by one single reality: Resurrection. We need to open the tombs we have buried ourselves in and let the light come in to show us the way out into the open garden of life. I pray that the parishioners of St. Jude may find a way to embrace the life (resurrection) that comes from hard times, because there is one hope we all must have and one hope only; and that hope is that all of us one day be
