Talk about the cover. Teacher introduces the layout of a book cover

to pupils.Teacher asks questions about the book cover

such as;i. What is the title of the book?ii. Who is the writer?iii. Who drew the pictures?

Paper Boat Teacher asks the pupils to make a

paper boat. Then, teacher asks the pupils to show

the class their paper boats and sing “ Row, Row, Row Your Boat” with actions.

My First Book Teacher gives sheets contain pictures

of stages of a story. Then, teacher ask the pupils to colour,

cut and paste the pictures on sheets of paper.
