Summary:Thisisastudioprojectwithteamwork;themasterplantotheleftistheef-fort of all the studio students. Then, each individual student was assigned to develop a site design for a target area of our selection. My individual selection is a residential community with the main theme of Cotton Rose. This project created a residential community of Cotton Rose. Located in thegreatercontextofamasterPlan for the threesquarekilometrestown of Xinxing, this newly realized village was transformed into a place that has attracted many new residents, tourists, artists, and business peo-ple while improving the lives of the existing populace. This example com-munity shows the town to be a seat of beauty that both cultivate and celebrate the Cotton Rose. It is designed to be a place to live, work and learn, while at the same time it serves as a destination for visitors by at-tracting them with opportunities to relax, places to play, chances to shop and venues in which to gather.
