• A landmine activates when a person steps on it and lifts their foot off of it.

• A landmine can either make you lose a limb, or you might loose your life

• There are many types of landmines. One kind is a toy landmine.

• The toy landmine is designed to hurt kids so they will not be in future wars

What we can do to help

• Educate people about the problem

• Work with our government to ban landmines

• Donate to organizations working to help people hurt by landmines

• Adopt a rat
