She was a judge and spokesperson for the 2011 DO Ribera Del Duero vintage and worked the 2016 harvest season in Chateau Biac, Bordeaux, France. WSET 2 Certified, Court of Master Sommelier 1, US Sommelier Association 2 and École du Vin in Bordeaux. Has a BBA in Business and Marketing, studied in culinary schools in NY, CA and graduated in FL.

Doreen also participates every year as a Chef of the worldwide awarded Park Hyatt Mendoza Master of Food Wine of Bodega Monteviejo in Argentina. A Slow Food USA supporter, certified with USA Certified Angus Beef, & Chobani Nutritional Program. She also attended to food and wine programs in Italy, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Greece and Spain.

In 2018, she also became the new US Chef Ambassador for the Spanish brand Embutidos Fermin, the largest and most prestigious Ibérico de Bellota producer in Spain. Doreen educates professionals (trade), consumers and represents the brand in trade events around the nation.

Also, Pasta Barilla recently hired her as an influencer for their 2018 social media campaign. For this campaign Doreen is developing recipes, while she promotes joy, health, creativity, connection with important people in life and highlight Barilla as an important ingredient in the Mediterranean diet.

A revolutionary movement to inspire us to create lasting changes in our health and life, one small step at a time. Since 2014 she is the celebrity chef in charge of the annual NAHREP Latina Brunch (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals), designing a 5 course brunch for 500 powerful latinas and sharing powerful & inspiring stories with them.

In 2015 she became the Celebrity Chef for the National Pork Board. During 15 months, Doreen hosted a massive national media tour with her recipes featuring pork. The campaign launched at the SOBE Food Network Wine & Food Fest in Miami, FL with several cooking shows for general market.

Since 2013 she is a Chef Ambassador for Novo Nordisk pharmaceutical, a world leader in diabetes & obesity care. With her recipes & passion, she has done more than 80 live cooking shows around the US.

Also in 2013, she became the first Hispanic Celebrity Chef for Bordeaux Wine Council, the most prestigious wine region in the world. Doreen was their spokesperson and consultant, helping Bordeaux connect with the growing U.S. Hispanic market via the “Viva Bordeaux” campaign. She created upscale Latin recipes paired with Bordeaux wines. National and international media successfully covered the campaign.

She was the chef of the 2015 Univisión health campaign Reto28. A 5 weeks massive campaign (diet) encouraging Latinos to live a healthier life. Doreen designed all recipes and achieved more than half a million subscribers in 2 weeks. The campaign was supported by the John Hopkins Hospital and the American Heart Association.

Doreen also hosted 3 shows on Fox Life / “Utilísima”, airing in over 16 countries for 5 years. Some of those shows are currently airing in Mundo Fox.
