THE CICADA AND THE ANT

Once upon a time a cicada sang all day while an ant worked nonstop.

Ha, ha… you always working ants! With how well I am doing nothing!

The queen of the ants said: what will you do when winter comes and you have nothing to eat?

Then came the cold winter, and the food ran out from the trees.

The hungry and thirsty cicada knocked the anthill´s door asking for help

The ants gave her food and let she stayed with them.

The queen said: Do you see why we work? Because there isn´t food in winter.

If you want to stay here, you have to sing and dance for us. The cicada learned that first is work and later enjoy.
