This is in regard to Chunauti - 2018 I initiated in 2016 as a focused programme aimed at bridging learning gaps amongst students of ClassesVI to VIII in order to bring them at par with" Age and Class appropriate learning". Under this, students from Classes VI to IX were mapped and grouped on the' basis of their learning levels with the focus to provide individual support to the weaker students to enhance and.improve reading and learning abilities in Govt. Schoolsof Directorate of Education. Many students in Govt. Schools of DoE have reported progression in terms of achievement levels in reading skills and basic mathematical abilities and haye transitioned to their age and grade appropriate syllabus in the current academic year 'of 2017-18. It is, therefore, imperative that the inter group movement of students needs to be recorded and gauged to strengthen the measures to enhance learning levels further. For this, in-deprhanalvsis isrequired to be undertaken for ClassesVI to VIII. All Heads of the randomly sampled Govt. schools underDoE are,.hereby, directed to submit the following information in excel format to their respective DOE(Zone) which will be further collated and consolidated for each district by the respective DDE(District}. ~ The district wise collated and consolidated data should reach the School Branch at schbranch@hotmail,com and in hard copy latest by 04/08/2017 (Friday), Only number of students have to be filled.
