Official Languages: Kurdish, Arabic, Turkmani.Kurdish language has various Dialects (Badini, Sorani, Zazayi,Kermashani, etc…).

RELIGIONKurdistan has a diverse religious population. The dominant religion is Islam, adhered to by the majority of its inhabitants. These include Kurds, Turkmen, and Arabs, belonging mostly to the Shafi’i, Sunni branch of Islam. Christanity is adhered to by Assyrian people and Armenian peoples (as well as by a few Kurds and Turkmen), and Yezidism make up a significant minority. Yarsan, Mandean and Shabaki religions are also followed.

He was the first sultan of Egypt & Syria & the founder of Ayyubid dynasty. A Muslim of Kurdish origin, Salahaddin led the Muslim opposition against the European Crusaders in the Levant & led the Muslim to free Jerusalem Al Quds.
