KTBW Seale Manager’s Report March 2016 “Joy in Our Town” Guests... Kenneth Morris talked about incarcerated youth and how absentee fathers are the reason so many kids turn on to drugs and crime. Single moms are leſt to teach moral values to their children and they just can’t do it without a posive male influence in the family. Stephen Le, community educator for the Tenants Union of Washington, talked about the different kinds of rental leases and the all-to-oſten deposit scam. Erin Summa of the Child Safety Center at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital talked about child safety in the home and how to fit the right auto seat to your child. Bellevue City Council member and former Mayor Conrad Lee emphasized the im- portance of the Chinese immigraon to the Seale area in the midst of the high tech boom here. We also interviewed Evangelist Keith Gerner and Pastor Jack McKee of Northern Ireland for future “Seale Praise the Lord” shows. Jack told how many of the young men in his congregaon have been shot to death in the ongoing IRA bales. Seale Praise the Lord! The theme of our March program was “What Is God Doing...in Giving Second Chances?” The program started out that way. But soon the Holy Spirit took over and the topic of suicide and second chances be- came our dominant talking points. Sam Heredia, Pastor of Victory Outreach Seale, hosted the program. Guests included a former Mafia runner and Colombian drug cartel member, a veteran of 14 months of intense fire fighng in Vietnam, a mother who died for 12 minutes and came back to life, and a husband who was so into drugs and gangs that his wife declared “it’s either homicide or suicide — you or me.” In the photo below, guests assemble on the Seale Praise the Lord set with the Seale skyline in the back- ground. We sll have several churches on our waing list. Staon Manager George Pengell and his wife Karen aended Evangelist Emmanuel Ziga’s 16th Anniversary Dinner at the Newcastle Country Club.
