Who Are We?KTHXBAI is a well recognized brand throughout America. We want our brand to be represented in

a positive light. KTHXBAI strives to be viewed as youthful and playful. KTHXBAI provides a wide

variety products for a fairly large market. Our target market is individuals between the ages of 8 - 38.

Because our target market spans 3 generations it is important for us to focus on the common interests

of our customers and avoid appearing too childish or too grown up. Lucky for us most all of our cus-

tomers share a passion for either gaming or some sort of cult craze. KTHXBAI prides itself on being a

top provider of not so mainstream products to extreme hobbiests.

We are nerds.Employees at KTHXBAI are all self proclaimed nerds, which in our venacular is not a degratory term,

instead it is a label we proudly accept.

Our Customers are our customers.Because KTHXBAI employees wear the label nerd proudly does not mean that all of our customers

do. While some customers are also self-proclaimed nerds many are not. KTHXBAI wants to embrace

the image of nerd on itself not our customers. The store the brand, the employees hold all the obses-

sive knowledge of the products our customers wish to buy.

FutureCustomersKTHXBAI’s marketing is nearly exclusively online.

Advertising in traffic areas of our target market.

KTHXBAI is aware of it’s very specific market, we

allow ourselves to be discoved by our market base

via our web presence. KTHXBAI considers itself to

be an underground entity, allowing our customers

to find us, simply by exploring their interests this

keeps the exclusivity of KTHXBAI prevalent to a

very specific group of people.

ExpansionKTHXBAI maintains a strong presense in the ultra-

competitive internet shopping world. KTHXBAI

looks to continually expand our brand through the

use of internet marketing, online social media and

our on-line store.

There will always be a place for KTHXBAI’s on

location stores but in order to expand rapidly and

reach our target market our number one focus is on

competing with online stores.

Following TrendsKTHXBAI does not resist current trends, we al-

ways embrace the latest in technology and that

which is popular in the tech world.

It is not KTHXBAI’s mission to destroy it’s com-

petetors as we understand there are services that

certain online competitors such as ebay amazon

and craigslist offer that KTHXBAI does not pro-

vide and does not wish to ever provide. KTHX-

BAI’s products can be found on ebay and craigslist

via our company accounts. Resources such as ebay

are a valuable shopping option for many custom-

ers that we target, it is our goal to utilize resources

such as ebay to market KTHXBAI. If our custom-

ers find their desired product via ebay we hope to

make them aware of our large inventory of similar

products that may be of interest. We hope to edu-

cate customers that we gain from resources outside

of our site of the efficiency of shopping for similar

products directly from the database we provide at

our website.

Most all online social media is utilized in the pro-

motion of KTHXBAI and it’s products. For ex-

ample, our facebook page, and twitter account are

constantly promoting new products, sales items

and the like. When the next big social media trend

arrives KTHXBAI will be there, utilizing the plat-

form to attract customers.

The BrandWe sell old and new entertainment technology and everything inbetween. It is our extremely large inventory of a variety

of genre specific items that allow our customers a feeling of ownership to the brand, as KTHXBAI holds the same spe-

cialized interests as it’s customers.

The KTHXBAI brand wishes to maintain a feeling of exclusivity. We wish to attract a very specific market, to create a

feeling of a special underground community between the KTHXBAI employees and customers.

Logo The KTHXBAI mark provides a glimpse of what

we provide as a store/service provider. The mark

certainly will not appeal to an older or technologi-

cally slow demographic(this is intentional). The

pixilated type tells of our appreciation of enter-

tainment based technology, and it’s continued ad-

vancement.

NameThe name KTHXBAI is reference to a few things.

1) youthful playfulness. 2) the lack of resistance to

our markets trends(embracing slang and remaining

current). 3) The fast-paced world we live in, for the

customer who wants to be an in and out shopper.

We want our customers to easily find their product

and be on their way if that’s what they wish.

LogoThe KTHXBAI logo has two marks, a

primary and a secondary mark which

can be used in identifying the brand.

Acceptable ArrangementsThere are 8 acceptable ways to display the mark. All

marks muxt be displayed on a plain white background

with no additional pattern or color.

In grey shows the margin surrounding the mark. All

content near mark must be displayed outside of these

margins.

The Colors

As Patterns

KTHXBAI utilizes the colors within it’s primary logo as patterns. There are strict restrictions on how pat-

terns associated with the KTHXBAI brand are constructed.

There are 3 types of patterns that can be constructed: “Red”, “Green”, and “Violet”. Patterns must contain at

least 14 approved colors from their particular category, and must repeat a primary color with at least every

4th pixel. The primary colors for each category are as follows …

Paragraph Guidelinesvertical and horizontal paragraphs are written with

a slightly different leading ratio to maintain a proper

aesthetic balance.

Horizontal ParagraphsA normal horizontal paragraphs must be written in the type family Arno Pro and must contain the font size/leading ratio

of 5:8. As evident in this paragraph- This paragraph is written in Arno Pro Regular 10 point with a leading of 16 point.

Vertical ParagraphsA normal vertical paragraphs must be written in

the type family Arno Pro and must contain the font

size/leading ratio of 5:9. As evident in theis para-

graph- This paragraph is written in Arno Pro Regu-

lar 10 point with a leading of 18 point.

ing with a KTHXBAI sticker placed on the outside of the

packageing.

Second-handSecond-hand products, or used products purchased for

re-sale are re-packaged into an original KTHXBAI box/

case if the original is not in perfect condition.

KTHXBAI offers numerous home entertainment

technology products, new and old.
