Founded by John Morganti in 1920, Morganti has continuously provided high quality construction management, design and build, and general contracting services for more than nine decades.

With managerial succession by John Morganti›s four sons, the firm grew to national prominence and was acquired in 1988 by Consolidated Contractors Company of Athens, Greece.

ABU DHABI FUTURE SCHOOLS PROGRAM

ARMY RESEARCH LABORATORY

Design and Build a school and Kindergarten in the Hamraniya Area in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The project includes boys and girls classrooms, Kindergarten ,covered swimming pool, GYM, library and theater. With total build up area of 11,000 m2.

The Project includes a 97,000sf addition for classrooms, media center, gymnasium and fitness center. Total renovations to the existing building include 115,000sf upgrade to the auto shop, machine technology, dining, new chiller plant, and renovations of the existing shop, administration, kitchen, dining and gymnasium areas; as well as a new 5,000sf detached garage, new service utilities and athletic fields. This Project is unique in that it is only the second Department of Public Works Project to incorporate into the requirements of the contract a Systems Commissioning Authority and an Internet Based Project Management System.

The Project comprised of the Construction of 15 Schools at various plots in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain under Musanada’s Abu Dhabi Future Schools Program. The works included design, construction, completion, and commissioning of these schools, including all site works, sub-structure works, superstructure works, finishing, electro-mechanical works, ancillary services and external works. 15 Schools with total build up area of 16,000 – 20,000m2each.

Located on an 80-acre site at the Aberdeen Proving Ground and contains a total of 292,000sf Laboratories occupy 128,777sf and vary in size from 50 to 7,000sf Clear heights vary from 8 to 20 feet with most labs being in the 10 to 16 foot range. Offices and support areas occupy 42,449sf.The structural steel frame is exposed, classified as unprotected non-combustible and is 100% protected by a wet pipe automatic fire protection system. The building incorporates features which permit future flexibility to change laboratory functions and services. Laboratory utilities are distributed along primary lines with secondary connections to labs which need them. Additional secondary lines can be added in the future with minimal effort.

This Project was the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to construct health facilities in earthquake affected areas of Azad Kashmir. With total build up area of 78,000 m2. 250 Beds Hospital with contract amount of 204,000,000 AED including medical equipment were planned..*Received Certificate of Appreciation - Completed Project Ahead of Schedule

Comprised of the Construction of a Maternity Hospital with 120 beds, 12 intensive care beds and 8 new born intensive care beds with internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrical facilities. The building consisted of a partial basement level, ground floor and an upper level. With total build up area of 11,000 m2.

Morganti provided both preconstruction and construction phase services on 9 major facilities at Danbury Hospital between 1985 – 2005 including new construction and renovation projects in almost every area of this hospital. All facilities were constructed on an extremely active occupied site where Safety was the key factor in the project’s success.

Morganti completed each facility on-schedule and on-budget.

The new 92,500sf Palm Beach County Health Department Administration Building has been designed as a 5-story office building space with on-site parking. This 3.53 acre site will house multiple state and county offices and has been designed as a Threshold Building. Centrally located in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach this tight site creates the need for a well- managed site and safety approach – Morganti’s Specialty.

The New Terminal 3 have advance baggage handling system, special security, communications and building maintenance system which are state of the art innovation in the aviation industry. As part of a Joint Venture, the Dick Corporation/Morganti Group team provided various services for the airports $990 million redevelopment program. This project consists of three buildings, which houses the car rental center, just outside of the George Bush international Airport: a 102,000 SF two-level customer services building inside a 1,652,000 SF parking garage and 20,000 SF bus maintenance facility. This addition/renovation project was constructed in a very busy airport. Any construction of this magnitude in or around an operation of this size takes extreme caution and attention to safety.

Morganti worked with Munroe County, providing planning and construction services for the development of the new terminal which opened in February 2009. The new terminal serves departing passengers with an area of about 30,000 square feet (2,800 m2), it more than doubled the terminal size. Parking is provided for 300 vehicles and is at ground level beneath the newer terminal-150 spaces for rental cars and 150 for the public.

At Al Nahda sites, two of the three buildings had parking garages with linking bridges to the buildings. The project was designed by Al Hashemi Consultants in Dubai. *Value Engineering: 200,000,000 AED

The 10 Buildings Sector: underground parking area+ 10 Residential buildings (1B+G+11 floors) - Total built up area of 109,894.00 sq. m.

The 6 Buildings Sector (Sector C) comprised of 6 residential buildings (1B+G+11 floors) each & a mosque. Total built up area of 58,285.00 sq. m.

External works comprised of roads, landscape, boundary wall, external services & deck area. Total built up area of 121,547.00 sq.m.

The Project consisted of four levels shopping center which included international brand name stores at the upper levels of the mall while hosting a very modern Fish, Mean and Vegetable Market at the lower level with some unique features such as an aquarium and fountains. A remarkable phase in the development of the Judicial system in Abu Dhabi. It hosts the three state authority’s court houses which consist of the court of appeal, the court of cassation and court of the first instance.

This project consisted of completing and furnishing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building in Abu Dhabi which is a seven floors building in addition to the Ground Floor and the Basement. It also encompassed outside buildings for security, reception and utilities.

The scope was to complete some areas left as shell and core only during the previous phase of construction, especially the seventh floor and other VIP regions. It also included furniture, IT/AV and security equipment for all the buildings. With total build up area of 48,077 m2.

KACST HEADQUARTERS KNOWLEDGE CENTER

YAHOO DUBAI

An eighteen storey state-of-the-art high rise building with two basements. It will be the most prominent and impressive building that will be constructed at KACST main complex. The building footprint is approximately 50 M X 50 M with a gross floor area of 66,000 square meters. The facility will serve as an orientation point for the campus and is intended to be the main headquarters for KACST which will accommodate all executive and administrative staff numbering around 2000.

AS SAMRA WASTEWATER, PLANT BOT

EGYPT UTILITIES MANAGEMENT/ALEXANDRIA HIGH PRIORITY PROJECT

The scope of the $153 million project includes the design, construction and operation and maintenance of a new wastewater treatment plant at As-Samra near Hashimiyya, Jordan. This plant will replace the existing overloaded waster stabilization ponds with current capacity of 67,000m3/day.Once completed the plant became capable of treating an average daily flow of 270,000m3/day and peak hour flow of 540,000m3/day to serve two million residents of the Amman and Zarqa areas. The effluent from the new plant meets Jordanian and International environmental standards for discharge into streams and river valleys.

This work that is to be performed on this projects under contract includes but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to construct the works, perform commissioning, conduct an operations and maintenance training program of Employer’s management and operating personnel for seven water treatment plants, a bulk chlorine storage facility, pump station intake and generator modifications, and residual, transmission and distribution pipelines. Relevant Project Features:Roads, parking area & rehabilitation of roads, Earth Containment Structure, Water Pump Stations, Concrete Tanks, Conveyance Piping, Electro-mechanical Works.

NEW TECHNOLOGY PARK

Porto Island defines new paradigm of mixed use, dynamic forms, connectivity and cohesive development strategies. The project is to be built on a man-made peninsula off the coast of Dubai, Umm Sequim adjacent to Dubai Fishermen Cooperation Association.

The site is roughly circular in shape connecting to the mainland via an extension of the existing beach and breakwater. The total existing plot is 1,053,542,sq.ft and during design process the area of the development has been expanded.

The primary substrate of New Taif will be the Science and Technology Park, however, success will be achieved only through a holistic approach to a planned New City, developing a balanced community that is economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable.
