History :Nestle began in Switzerland in mid 1860s.It is created by Henri when he realized the need of healthy and economical product to serve people.
Its first product called Farine Lectee (french word mean cornflour gruel).
In 1874,the Nestle’ company was purchased by Jules Monnerat.
Objectives of Nestle:
Nestle company had aimed to build a business as the world’s leading nutrition , health and wellness based on human values and principle.
Nestle has over 500factories in 76 countries , sell its product in 193 nations.
Methodology of KM:
Method of KM is ZACK approach proposed by MICHAEL ZACK. In this he suggest framework which helps organization make an explicit connection b/w competitive and knowledge management strategy to maintain competitive advantage.
In this approach, analysis done with the help of SWOT that helps identifying gaps in an organization’ knowledge.
