Take your time to check for correct gauge. SCARF Center Section Provisionally cast-on 36 sts. Row 1 (RS): Knit Row 2: K3, P30, K3. Rep Rows 1 and 2 until piece measures 38” from beg. Place all sts on a stitch holder. Long Tails Place the provisionally-cast-on sts on a stitch holder. and work 9 Long Tails at each end of Center Section as follows: * Transfer 4 sts from stitch holder to needle. Row 1 (RS): K1, M1, k2, M1, k1, turn – 6 sts. Working on these 6 sts only, continue in St st for 25”. Bind off. Rep from * until all sts from holders have been worked. Weave in all ends.
