For me that includes joining in the Knights of Co- lumbus events which feed, entertain, and energize other people. A great example of that is to see the smiling faces of parishioners, to whom we are serving breakfast. (The 1 st of these is coming up on October 1 st -Sunday at 9am at the SFC gym.) We do other fun and opportune projects which gives us back warmth from seeing “eyes of appreciation”. Last December several of our brothers and family members went to resident homes with handi- capped, and other needs, and sang Christmas carols for them. Our October schedule includes: 40 days for life Citizen Essay Contest, 5 th Sunday Rosary at Saint Frances Cabrini, where we’ll also meet & greet parishioners encourage Catholic Men to join us and and a “Tootsie Roll” drive to raise monies for disabled persons and these are just in the month of October. SUPREME GRANTS STAR COUNCIL AWARD TO 4322

District Deputy Paul Swortz announced at the meeting that

he received a copy of a letter sent by Supreme to PSD Eddie

Parazoo, stating that they accepted his appeal for us to get

Star. FDD Forrest wrote to PSD Parazoo explaining that we

exceeded all requirements for Star Council except for the in-

surance quota. He explained that was beyond our control as

we had no agent that contacted any of our new members

some who stated they would like insurance. Apparently they

were several councils in the same situation.

Supreme wrote that they would award the Star Council Award to 4322, GK Edgardo Liloc

and his team. In addition they state that we would also receive the financial incentive they

were giving to Star Councils. That amounts to $4.50 per dues paying members as a credit

toward our Supreme Per Capita charges. That will be about $256.50.
