• The first time you run KLeer on a new Sabre Red Workspace you will have the option of starting a free trial for a single PCC.
• If you want to start a free trial on a new PCC just enter the PCC in the box provided and click Next. If this PCC has already had a free trial, or if the PCC is already subscribed, KLeer will tell you.
• If your office already has a free trial or a subscription, there is no need to start a free trial. You do not need to enter a PCC in the box. Just click Next.
5
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• If you enter a PCC and click Next KLeer will validate the PCC you entered to make sure it is eligible for a free trial.
• If you already had a free trial, or if this PCC is already subscribed, you will get a message from KLeer telling you that the PCC is not eligible for a free trial.
• If you start a trial for the wrong PCC there is no way to re-‐enter the correct PCC on the same Sabre Red Workspace. Try running KLeer for the first time on another Sabre Red Workspace and enter the correct PCC. Or contact KLeer support for help: [email protected].
• Once you enter an eligible PCC for a free trial the app will tell you You’re in the KLeer!.
• In all cases, whether you entered a PCC or not, whether your PCC was eligible or not, the next step is to click Next.

• The next screen is KLeer configuration. • This is where you give KLeer an admin or supervisory email address for your agency.
• Enter the email address of someone that will want to know when it’s time to renew your subscription, or when something goes wrong. Change the waiting time if desired. • An email will be sent to this address the first time you configure it.
• If the email is not received check the email address for accuracy. • You also tell KLeer how long to wait before checking the queue again in Robotic Mode. The default waiting time is 1 hour. It is fine to leave it like this for now.
7

Preparing a PNR• Now you are ready to use KLeer. The next step is to prepare a PNR for KLeer processing and send it to the KLeer queue.
• The first thing to know is that there is no need for an actual waitlist segment in order to have KLeer check the flight for seats. In fact, there are no itinerary requirements at all. Only two things are required. One, a 5H-‐ remark with your notification info. Two, a 5H-‐ remark with your KLeer request. Here’s how to do it.
• First enter the 5H-‐ remark(s) to indicate how you would like to be notified in case KLeer finds a seat. You can enter an email address and/or a queue placement. And the email address can be one of the supported mobile carrier text messages. (For a list of mobile carriers that support the use of email to send a text message please see https://taredappKLeer.com/contact.)
• Here are some examples: • 5H-‐KLeer-‐AGENT*TRAVEL.COM • 5H-‐KLeer-‐QP/440/11 • 5H-‐KLeer-‐1235559999*VODAFONE.NET
********** Please Note ************* • Replace @ in the email with * when entering the email address into the 5H-‐ remark for email contact in the PNR.
• You can have as many contact remarks as you like. KLeer will send notification to all of them.
9
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• Next enter the 5H-‐ remark to tell KLeer what flight you want to search. You can request one or more classes on the same flight. You can also control whether a booking is attempted; whether an existing flight is replaced and when; whether Direct Connect is used.
• Here’s how you enter the basic KLeer request:
5H-‐KLEER-‐(carrier code)(flight number)-‐(class list)-‐(date)(city pair)
5H-‐KLEER-‐VA4-‐JQS-‐15MARMELSYD
• To prevent a booking attempt add –DNB (Do Not Book)
5H-‐KLEER-‐VA4-‐JQS-‐15MARMELSYD-‐DNB
• To replace the existing segment until the PNR has been ticketed add –RT (Replace until Ticketed)
5H-‐KLEER-‐VA4-‐JQS-‐15MARMELSYD-‐RT
• To replace the existing segment regardless of ticketing status –RB (Replace Booking)
5H-‐KLEER-‐VA4-‐JQS-‐15MARMELSYD-‐RB ***see note next page
• To force Direct Connect availability add –DC (Direct Connect)
5H-‐KLEER-‐VA4-‐JQS-‐15MARMELSYD-‐DC
• Only -‐DC can be combined with the others
5H-‐KLEER-‐VA4-‐JQS-‐15MARMELSYD-‐DC-‐RT
• You can add as many KLeer requests as you like to a single PNR.
• If you request more than one class on the same flight, KLeer will check for seats in the order in which the classes appear in the request. In the above examples KLeer would first look for J class, then Q, finally S. If J class is found KLeer won’t continue looking for Q or S.

Lets review those 4 extra bits that control how KLeer operates.
• -‐DNB tells KLeer Do Not Book
• -‐RT tells KLeer to replace the existing segment only if no tickets have been issued in the PNR. It doesn’t check of a ticket has been issued for this segment. If any ticket has been issued in the PNR it will not replace the segment.
• -‐RB tells KLeer to replace the existing segment whenever a seat is found with no regard for ticketed status.
****** Please Note ****** Be very careful using -‐RB as KLeer is not responsible for costs incurred due to inappropriate cancellation.
• -‐DC tells KLeer to use Direct Connect availability.
-‐DC can be combined with any of the others but –RT, -‐RB and –DNB cannot be combined.
11
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• Here is what a PNR might look like once you have the 5H-‐ remarks added. Notice that nothing special is needed in the itinerary. Flight segments are fine, but not required.
• Finally, just queue place the PNR to the queue that KLeer will monitor.
12
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
Running KLeer• There are two ways you can run KLeer; Run Once or Robotic Mode.
• When you Run Once, KLeer will cycle through the queue, check all the KLeer requests for seats, notify you if any seats are found, and stop when the queue is finished.
• When you run in Robotic Mode KLeer will do the above but then wait for the time period you configured earlier and start the queue again. When KLeer is running the Sabre Red Workspace shouldn’t be used for any other purpose.
13
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• First enter the queue number that you want KLeer to process.
14
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• Then click KLeer the Q
15
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• KLeer is now checking the PNRs on the queue, looking for seats. The dashboard tells you what PNR is currently being checked, the number of PNRs worked, how many KLeer requests have been processed since you started KLeer, and how many seats have been found. These values are reset when you close the Sabre Red Workspace.
• To reset these values just restart Sabre Red Workspace.

When KLeer Finds a Seat• When KLeer finds an available seat for one of your requests it will attempt to book the seat for you, unless you have used the –DNB switch in your request.
********** Please Note *************
• KLeer can only attempt to book the seat into the PNR. In some cases the airline may reject the booking with a UC status code. This could be due to a duplicate segment already in the PNR.
• You will be notified in all cases when a seat is found. Even if an attempted booking has failed.
• When KLeer successfully books a seat into the PNR, history will show that the segment was booked by KLeer.
********** Please Note ************* • If KLeer finds a seat in a PNR that does not have a KLeer contact
remark a mail will be sent to the configured Admin email account.
21

Robotic Mode• When running in Robotic Mode KLeer cannot sign into Sabre on the emulator if the session becomes inactive. So please set the EPR inactivity sign out to a value greater than the wait time specified in the configuration. If you set the EPR inactivity limit to 240 and have KLeer check the queue every couple of hours then your session will stay active most of the time, 24 hours a day. A known exception is on the weekend when Sabre may sign out automatically for system maintenance.
22
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
• Another issue when running in robotic mode is the Confirm Your Account requirement for Sabre Red Workspace. This panel displays itself about 12 hours after logging into the Sabre Red Workspace portal. (This has nothing to do with signing into the Sabre emulator).
• When this panel appears you have about 12 more hours to re-‐enter your password. If you fail to re-‐enter your password in the allotted time the emulator session will be signed out.
• About once every 24 hours please re-‐enter your password into the Confirm Your Account panel. You do not need to stop KLeer to do this.
23
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
Stopping KLeer• If you want to stop KLeer in Run Once Mode or Robotic Mode just click Stop.
24
KLeer User Guide v2.0 -‐ Copyright 2015
Removing PNRs from Queue• KLeer will remove a PNR from the queue under the following conditions: • A seat is found for one or more KLeer requests and no more unfulfilled KLeer
requests exist in the PNR. • No valid KLeer requests exist in the PNR. • All KLeer requests are past date. • The PNR is owned by a PCC that does not have a valid subscription. • Some problem prevents the PNR from ending properly
• This means you don’t have to remove past date PNRs from the queue. Once all the KLeer requests in the PNR are past date, KLeer will remove the PNR from the queue for you.
