Our sincerest thanks to all our spe-cial guests who attended our "Special Guest Day" last week. We request all our members to please contact their invited guests, and thank them personally as well. Please follow up with your guests, answer any questions they may have regarding our organiza-tion and encourage them to con-sider joining our club as members. Invite them to come and join us for our "Kiwanis One Day" project scheduled for Saturday, May

4. This will provide them with an opportunity for them to partner with us in meaningful service for our community, and to get to know our members and SLP. We also encourage all of our members to join us for our "Kiwanis One Day". This is one of the better opportunities for us to show our community that we are committed to "improve the world, one child and one community at a time". Many have often said that we do not do an adequate job of letting the communities we serve know, who we are, and what we do. Here is another opportunity for us to promote Kiwanis, and it will take support from all of us to do so. Invite friends and family to join you and us this day, the more people we reach out to, the better

we will be able to spread our mes-sage around. Looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday.

At our last club meeting we hosted our "Special Guest Day". The day is designed to attract like minded individuals in our communities to join Kiwanis, and help us grow in membership as a club and as an organization, The meeting was called to order by El Presidente, Mahmood Bashir at 7:05 AM. Kathy Young led us in the pledge of alle-giance. Craig Cerro offered a very inspirational invocation, followed by Grace Chan lead-ing us in the patriotic song. Grace selected "God Bless America". El Presi-dente thanked everyone in attendance for making taking time out of their bust sched-ules to attend the meeting. Our members introduced our invited guests seated at their tables. Our special guests in attendance were, Wilson Mach from First General Bank, Angie Valenzuela from Supervisor Don Knabe's

office, Steve Napolitano, our featured guest speaker, who is a senior deputy to Supervi-sor Don Knabe, Cinch Cheng of Parent's Place/Family Resource & Empower-ment Center, Stephannie Hu from Congressman Ed Royce's office, Samantha Marquez from Assemblyman Ian Calderon's office, Ricardo Recinos faculty Advisor to Wilson High School's KIWIN'S, joined by his wife Marisela Parrera, their little girl Tony Rae, and our Immediate past First Lady Teri Malkin. Our youngest guest and a fu-ture KIWIN'S and a fu-ture Kiwanian was Kyra (Anna's daughter), who was wearing a Kiwanis pin. We were also joined by our Divi-sion-35 LTG Robert Davis. Other Kiwanians in attend-ance were Brad Manning from West Covina club, Vern Moyer, Paul White, and Phil Hinojos of La Puente

club. Once all the guests were introduced each one of our club members in attendance introduced themselves to the guests. Members in attend-ance were, Immediate Past President David Malkin, Dave Wallach, Craig Cerro, Lon Salgren, Charlie Huff, Grace Chan, Kathy Young, Izzeldin Osman, Anna Wu, Andrew Chao, Xiao Wang, Ben Su, Ray Jan, Susan Jack-lin, Victoria Davidson, and Gino Kwok. Following the introductions Dave W led us in the singing of our "Welcome Song", which was enjoyed and appreciated by all. Following the display of our singing talents El Presidente presented Ri-cardo Recinos with a well deserved DSA (Distinguished Service Award) for his contin-ued service to our SLP as a faculty Advisor, and for being involved in the community. Following the DSA presenta-

tion, Dave W took the podi-um, and got the program started. Charlie Huff gave a brief history of our club and its accomplishments of its fifty years of existence, fol-lowed by remarks by El Presidente about the fu-ture of the club. El Preside- nte then invited President Elect Victoria Davidson to share her vision for the clubs focus next year when she takes over. Next Steve Napolitano spoke on behalf of Supervisor Don Knabe, who had a last minute sched-uling conflict and was unable to join us. Following our guest speaker Anna Wu talked briefly about our involvement with SLP, and gave her per-spective on the program and the impact it has on the young adults, as she was a KIWIN'S member when she was in high school. Distinguished Service Award

(Continued from Page 4) Anna asked Dave W the dreaded question, "How do you feel?" to which he very enthusiastically responded with the ever so familiar and echoing response "I feel Good. Oh I feel so good -----" cheer. If any one in the room was dozing or in their own thoughts, this most certainly woke them up, and brought them back to our meeting. Our Membership Growth Chair, Dave W then invited all of our special guests to join our club, and offered information regarding how to become a Kiwanian. He then thanked Kathy Young and Susan Jacklin for their hard work putting together the materials and making the small parting gifts (M&M jars) for our guests. El Presidente clanked the bell at 8:15 AM, and the meeting was adjourned as we sang "Hail to Kiwanis" It was a very successful meeting, enjoyed by all. Last week at our "Special Guest Day" we presented our third DSA of this year to Ricardo Recinos. We normally present the DSA's at the "Governor's Visit", which was on March 30, but could not present it to Ricardo since true to his commitment & dedication to his students he is away on a school trip to Europe. For the past several years, Ricardo has been serving diligently as the Faculty Advisor of our KIWIN’S club at G. A. Wilson High School. He has always been there for these servant leaders of today, and tomorrow. As we all know teachers have a very demanding work schedule, and it is a testament to their commitment and dedi-cation to our youth, when they find time to make themselves availa-ble to guide and mentor them outside of the classroom and the school environment. Ricardo is one of these special dedicated indi-viduals. With the presentation of this DSA we acknowledge his com-mitment and service to our youth.

By: David Malkin Due to an unanticipated meeting, Supervisor Don Knabe was unable to attend our Special Guest Day meeting. However, he was able to arrange for his Senior Deputy, Steve Napolitano, to fill in for him. Steve gave a fact filled presentation on the current projects the Supervisor’s office is working on. Despite the fact that Supervisor Knabe “terms out” after this term, he is not sitting back and resting. His office is busier than ever trying to get as much done completed in the last few years of his term. Some of the issues that Supervisor Knabe is working on are: Arts and Education:

Announced his 2014 Arts Education Partnership Program (AEPP), which will support high quality arts edu-cation programs by providing matching funds to nonprofit organizations, community organizations, gov-ernment agencies and schools across the Fourth Supervisorial District.

Budget;

Unveiled its draft 2013-2014 budget, totaling nearly $24.7 billion. The proposed budget, which by state law must be balanced, does not include any cuts in services or employee layoffs.

“For the first time since the start of the worst economic crisis since the great depression, we will operate on a budget that does not require the use of reserve funds to plug shortfalls.

Child Sex Trafficking:

Supervisors Chairman Don Knabe declared a “War on Child Sex Trafficking” with a package of state legisla-tion that will target sex buyers.

Emergency Preparedness

Has an emergency mass notification system used to contact County residents and businesses via recorded phone message, text message, or email in the event of critical situations. The system, called Alert LA county, allows the County’s Emergency Operations Center to notify residents and businesses during emer-gencies providing necessary information, such as evacuations.

Healthcare;

LA County has the second largest public health system in the country with a $3.5 billion annual budg-et. Every year, the County sees 2.9 million outpatients. Sixty-four percent of those who come to County facilities are uninsured.

“While the County may have been a system of last resort in many minds, the truth is we have some in-credible facilities and staff,” said Supervisor Knabe. “We need to start telling that story.”

Improving Lives:

“Making the noble decision to donate can be difficult, but there is no greater expression of compassion than making the life-giving act of organ and tissue donation,” said Supervisor Knabe. “Giving the gift of life through organ and tissue donation provides a measure of comfort to a bereaved family. I encourage everyone in Los Angeles County to consider signing up for the Donate Life California registry.”

Jobs and the Economy:

Knabe asked for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to work with all departments that interact with small businesses to re-engineer the process of how businesses get started in Los Angeles County, citing an often cumbersome and confusing process.

Operation Libraries;

In the last three years, libraries alone in his district have seen more than 8 million people pass through their doors. More than 9 million books, videos and other library materials have been checked out. Plan-ning is underway and I expect construction on the facilities to be completed by the time I leave office.

$13.3 million approved to build or remodel new libraries in, Lomita, La Mirada, Artesia and Rowland Heights.

Parks and Environment:

Has been declared “Junior Golfer’s Appreciation Month” throughout Los Angeles County, and to salute the County’s young golfers, green fees have been reduced to $1.

Public Safety:

Called for more rigorous zoning restrictions to combat the rise in maternity hotels. Safe Surrender:

Established by Supervisor Knabe in 2001, the Safe Surrender program allows a parent or legal guardian to confidentially handover an infant, three days old or younger, to any hospital emergency room or fire sta-tion in Los Angeles County. As long as the baby has not been abused or neglected, the person may surren-der the baby without fear of arrest or prosecution for child abandonment.

Since the program began, 116 newborns have been safely surrendered. The multilingual Safe Surrender Hotline, 1-877-BABY-SAFE, is available 24-hours a day for more information and the location of the near-est Safe Surrender site. Safe Surrender sites can also be found by calling the County helpline at 211 or by visitingwww.babysafela.org.

Transportation:

Approved a motion to support the transfer of Ontario International Airport (ONT) to local control. Cur-rently the Ontario Airport is managed by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and the City of Los Angeles; the City of Ontario has requested control

Supervisor Knabe issued the following statement: “I am not at all surprised at the City of Ontario’s desire to get back control of its airport. We have seen significant reductions in passenger traffic at Ontario, which cannot all be explained away by the economy. LAWA has not shown a good faith effort to regionali-zation, which would benefit all of Southern California.

Supervisor Knabe has been a friend of Kiwanis and other non-profits throughout his multiple terms as Supervisor. We appreciate all of his support and look forward to working with his predecessor.

Spotlight on our Member

Next year is Kiwanis 100th year anniversary, as we celebrate the history of Kiwanis, it’s also important to recognize the history of our members. Our club has been around for 50 years and many of our members have shared in our clubs milestones. To celebrate our 100th year anniversary, we will have profiles of our long standing members here.

This week: David Malkin When did you join Kiwanis? August 2009 How did you hear about Kiwanis? Jim Stewart invited me to a Special Guest Day in 2008 and 2009. I was not ready to join the first year, but got hooked in 2009. What motivated you to join? I was very fortunate to have had a successful career, supportive family life and ability to retire at an early age. My wife, who was already retired, and I have always been involved in our local community and felt it was our time now to give back to others through volunteer work. My heart attack in 2009 further gave me the incen-tive to do good deeds. Kiwanis gave me the structure to do this. Since you been a member what do you think of Kiwanis? And what's your favorite part? The benefits of being a Kiwanian is really dependent on each individual member. Our Club is involved in such a large number and variety of projects, you can literally choose how much you want to get involved and the type of activity. I have found the most rewarding project the one I started about four years ago, Shoes That Fit. Like any Kiwanis project, the reward is not financial, it is the smiles you get in return from the kids. They often say a pic-ture is worth a thousand words. Well, a smile is worth a thousand dollars. In addition to the many projects we are involved in, the "family of friends" I now have through my Kiwanis Club gives me a great deal of pleasure. I have given up my work relationships for a new set of friends in retirement.

Tell us about your family. My father was from Kiev, Russia (Ukraine) and my mother was from Toronto, On-tario, Canada. My father was a taylor and grocery store owner and my mother was a model and an accountant. She met my father while modeling his women suits. I was born in Kingston, New York, grew up in Culver City and later moved to Marina del Ray (Venice). After I got married we moved to La Habra and then to Rowland Heights in 1974. I have two full brothers, one is the past mayor of La Mirada and one has a USC doctorate in education, living in Southern California and one half

brother and a sister who have passed. My half brother was a record producer and he and his wife received sever-al gold records and albums. My wife and I have been married since 1973 and have one son, Mathew, who is an anesthesiologist at Loma Linda Hospital and is on the faculty of the medical school. He is currently engaged to be married in May, next month, to his fiancee who is also an anesthesiologist at Loma Linda. We also have one res-cued cat, Aurora, who is our love of our life now that our son has left home.

How did you meet your wife? I met my wife on a blind date. I had originally asked her sister out, but she was going with someone. She said she had a sister who was home alone and I called her that night. We have not stopped talking since then. What are some of your hobbies? In high school my brother and I used to build and race cars at Lyons Drag Strip. My joy was a 32 Ford Roadster with a Corvette 301 bored engine

with a Lincoln Zephyr transmission. We also had a 1955 Chevy and a 1961 Chevy with quads. I used to be interested in photography and had my own dark room but gave that up when I went to college. When my son was younger we took up sport collectables and continued with that until he entered high school. Some of my favorite moments were meeting sport greats such as Sandy Koufax, Muhammad Ali, Joe Dimaggio, etc. with my son. Currently, my son and I attend Laker, Dodger and King games.

What's your guilty pleasure? I love to shop for clothing and gadgets, including kitchen and tools. Any gadget that is new or unusual I have to have it. My most recent acquisition was a professional blender for the kitchen. If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only take 3 things with you, what would it be? and why? I would take my faith, water and fire. Faith would give me hope and the belief I can survive, water would nour-ish my body and fire would give me warmth and the ability to cook food. Tell us a little about your career. Past and/or current I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreational Therapy from Cal State Northridge, and a Master's degree (MSW) from UCLA. I worked for 32 years for the California Department of Mental Health at Metropolitan State Hospital. Since retirement I have been doing private consulting for public agencies in Kentucky providing ser-vices to Adults with disabilities and support work for the US Department of Justice. Lastly, anything else you would like to share? I grew up in a family that taught me to help others and to live with less. There are many opportunities in our communities to practice this philosophy through the Kiwanis organization. My brother is a Rotarian and my oth-er brother is an Elk. What is important is that you volunteer and give when you can, regardless what structure you utilize. New Member Bio Get to know our new members!! Read all about it here!! Ray Jan was inducted into Kiwanis on September 25th, 2013. Here is the interview with Ray.

Hi Ray, so tell us how you heard about Kiwanis? From David and Teri Malkin. I met Andrew Chou from Pacific Asia Museum and he referred me to David who was looking to purchase some Kiwanis tote bags and I knew an importer that had competitive prices. David and Teri came to meet with me a few times regarding the order and they told me all about Kiwanis. What made you want to join? I have always been thankful for Key Club volunteers at FFDY (Foundation for Disabled Youth) and that made me interested in Kiwanis. David invited me to few Kiwanis events and I really liked the members and the mission. Have you ever been apart of other non-profits? Yes, Global Federation of Chinese business women- S.CA Chapter. I have been with them for 5 years, currently the VP of our Chapter and past secretary. We are the biggest chapter in US with 180 members, holds monthly events included charity, professional development and daytrip. USC Pacific Asia Museum- Chinese Art Council– currently the VP been volunteering with them for 5 years. We promote Chinese Culture to younger generation. In April 2012, FFDY Children had their very 1st public art exhibition there to promote Autism awareness. S.CA Chinese Relay for Life- Team Development Chair 2012, STC Foundation, RHCA, and FFDY Since you been a member, how do you feel about Kiwanis? I am impressed with our members passion in serving the community, it is amazing how a small group of people can do so much to give back. My favorite part is the SLP program and I look forward to working with the Akion Club. Tell us a little bit about your family background I grew up in Taipei, moved to Virginia after high school and than moved to LA in 2007 due to my job.

What are some of your hobbies? I love food, sake, toy collecting, traveling and doing touristy things. Do you have any pets? Yes, Cosmo, he is a 10 year old mini- schnauzer. One of my favorite. thing to do with Cosmo is to dress him up and put him in different containers, box, bag What is your current occupation? Pacific Asian Consortium of Employment (PACE) Energy Saving Project Our dept. conducts in language outreach for Gas Company services and promote energy saving life style. Tell us a little about your past jobs?

Server/bartender at PF Changs, managed 3 sushi bars, sales rep. for a Japanese collectible toy company, promo-tional gifts, and lastly insurance company. I am always in the people business

By Sophia Uemura, Wilson KIWIN'S My experience at my first Dcon was and is definitely the most fun and memorable Dcon I will ever have being a member of KIWINS. From the first day waking up at 5 o’clock to get ready for the bus ride to San Ramon, I knew that this Dcon will be an unforgettable one, and it was!! I made a lot of friends from other schools I have never even heard about and districts that seemed incredibly interesting! I saw some fellow Kiwiners that I had met at Fall Rally earlier this year. Being reunited with people so far away was a great feeling. I enjoyed every single se-cond of this Dcon. From the loud spirit battles to the quiet moments in workshops I had fun meeting new people and bonding more with those around me every day. Being with my friends at a spirited new environment helped me adapted better at Dcon. Without Sabrina Yang, Jade Wong, Olivia Tang, and Andrea Hu, my first Dcon would not have been as great and memorable as it was. Partially the reason I went to Dcon was to support my friend Andrea Hu because she ran for District Bulletin Editor. I shouted for her whenever she finished her speech, and that almost caused me to lose my voice! Thank the lord I didn’t though. Nevertheless, I could not have been more proud of what I would proudly call my close friend, Andrea Hu. As she stepped onstage to deliver her speech, I would smile silly because I was proud of her. Doing this was Andrea’s approach of stepping outside her comfort zone, and may I add that she did an incredible job. Andrea Hu is the one on the far right in the picture above. She delivered her speeches well, and her campaign poster was beautiful and of amazing quality. Even though she did not get the position, I am still very proud and happy for Andrea. She definitely did do a G-DOUBLE O-D J-O-B, GOOD JOB GOOD JOB.The Talent Show was incredibly enjoyable as well. Seeing our own next year’s president for Wilson’s Kiwins, Lili Labaco and a few other friends dance a Korean Folk Dance and a ratchet, crazy one was entertaining. I laughed my head off and was in awe of how great Goldstone performed overall at the talent show. Each participant in the talent show was… well… talented!! Overall, Dcon was unforgettable and definitely worth to wake up at 5 am in the morning and sleep almost 4 hours per day during the trip. Being with my Goldstone family at Dcon made me definitely shout and scream, “I FEEL GOOD!”

At the annual KIWIN’S District Convention, our high school received many awards on behalf of the club, in gen-eral, and on behalf of specific individuals. Ashley Lee and Joann Cai each received a Kiwanis scholarship worth $1,250. I myself was awarded the William and Gretchen Lofthouse Memorial Scholarship of $1,500 as well as second place in the Impromptu Essay Contest. In addition, Ashley Lee won the first ever All-Star Award for her dedication and service to KIWIN’S. The awards did not yet cease, as Dennis Takeshita won the Inter-club Award on behalf of our entire club. Finally, all of our members who attended this year’s convention helped our club win a first place trophy in DCON attendance. Joann and I are very proud of our members, as we could not have ac-complished this without them.

This year was my first DCON at San Ramon and it was definitely full of great memories! When we first arrived on Friday and got situated into our rooms, the battle for spirit had already begun while waiting for the welcoming assembly. After the assembly, we were able to choose workshops to attend one of which I attended being a fun mingling game. Friday also consisted of speeches from those running for KIWIN’S district board positions. On Sat-urday, many awards were given out to different schools and divisions. Los Altos High School received an award for most attendees at DCON in the Bronze division. Later on after some more workshops and a delegates meeting which I was a part of, there was a talent show and dance! Sunday morning was the last of DCON which ended with more awards and a delicious breakfast. Overall I learned a lot at DCON and bonded with many of my fellow KIWINers! I look forward to going again next year!

By Firuze Barimani, Wilson Key Club President From April 11 to 13, twelve members of Wilson Key Club attended DCON in Sacramento. The enriching experi-ence culminated in a night of recognition for efforts made throughout the term. Wilson was awarded, at the club level: membership retention, membership growth of at least 100% and at least 40 new members, Secre-tary District Tree, and Distinguished Club. Furthermore, Wilson's fundraising efforts were recognized, as we raised over $300 for MNT and over $800 for PTP. At the individual level, Austin Ly and Kristy Dai received Bronze awards from the new Member Recognition Program, and Firuze Barimani received a silver award. Firuze Barimani was recognized as an Outstand-ing president and as the recipient of a Kenneth Forror Scholarship worth $1250. Misters Wallach and Bashir were also rec-ognized-on multiple occasions I might add-for their involvement with us SLPs.

A Farewell Letter from Wilson Key Club’s President

Hello everyone. As my term officially comes to a close this Saturday, I would like to take this time

to extend my greatest appreciation for the mentorship and friendship the Kiwanis Club of Hacien-

da Heights has showered me with for the last two years. From my first meeting in the capacity as

Wilson Key president-shaking hands with that initially fearful Santa Claus at Casa Blanca-to all the

Adopt a Highways, Ribfests, pancake breakfasts, and pro rodeos, I have been able to count on this

club's members for nothing short of a spiritual uplift. Whether it was getting those initial 15 signa-

tures to re-charter turned in on time or planning a Fall Rally to be attended by some 70 members,

the thing that remained constant was the patience and know-how of Kiwanians; it is for this, and

for your foundational roles in bringing about club improvement, that I am eternally grateful. I

would like to give my special thanks to Misters Bashir, Wallach, and Salgren for their active partici-

pation in our club and divisional events and for their serving as upstanding role models not only to

me, but to every member that has had

the privilege of working with them. I

wish next year's cabinet an even better

year in terms of growth and develop-

ment, and hope that they are granted

the honor of forging the same connec-

tions with this Kiwanis club that I was.

On a final note, though I will be joining

Circle-K at USC and will be back to see

By Lon Salgren I had the pleasure of representing our Kiwanis Club at the Mt Sac Circle-K in-stallation banquet this past Saturday. Outgoing President Danny Villa did a great job taking on the job of Presidency mid-year when the elected President had to leave. He called upon his cabinet to help shoulder the burden and turned it into another successful year. Their membership continued to grow as well as their service to the community. Incoming President Kalene Wong in-herits a strong club from his leadership this past year. I look forward to the club's continued success. It was great to see immediate-Past Foothill Circle-K LTG Dianne Tulud and current Foothill Circle-K LTG Alfredo Munoz. Three members of the Walnut Valley Kiwanis Club were also in attendance that evening.

elected Secretary for Rowland Heights Senior Path-

finders.



Delhaven Beautification Work Day

This is a unified effort between Delhaven, Industry Hills

Rotary Club, Hacienda Heights Kiwanis Club, Edison, Cali-

fornia Highway Patrol, Bentley Inc, Amigos De los Rios, the

City of La Puente, and the High School students from your

group and the Rotary group.

It is a 3 - Phase project with Phase 1 being on the 26th of

April. What we are being asked for on Saturday, is for Ki-

wanians and the high school students to work in our jun-

gleland area, located on the property behind the main

office facility, trimming trees, removing dead branches

and shrubbery- to allow growth of the trees and shrub-

bery that is still alive. We will also have the high school

students from the Rotary Club (with supervision) assisting

us. The day will also consist of major landscaping, some

tree planting, planting a garden, and more, which will be

done by other groups.

Phase 2 will be completed during the summer months and

will consist of planting trees along the front of Delhaven,

of all four pieces of property.

Phase 3 will be held in September and will consist of land-

scaping, putting in irrigation, planting grass, and planting

trees on their third piece of property behind where the

"eye clinic" currently sits.

Kiwanis One Day As the planning for 2014 Kiwanis One Day comes to a close with our Kiwanis One Day project this Saturday, the 19th at Schabarum Park 8AM– 1PM. We are already thinking about next year. 2015’s Kiwanis One Day will be on April 11th, 2015. Next year Kiwanis is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary by giving communities the gift of play. Kiwanis announced in their April/ May 2014 magazine that they are working closely with Landscape structures to create an exclusive design that celebrate 100 years of service and allows the clubs to leave a legacy of play. This is definitely a project we as a club will consider. An Important Message from Executive Director Dan Germain: Beginning at midnight on Tuesday, May 6th, the Kiwanis Family House will participate in an exciting regional event involving 400 local nonprofit organi-zations called the BIG Day of Giving. On this one day, for 24 hours, we will focus as a region on "giving where our heart is" by making donations to participating nonprofit organizations, including our

Kiwanis Family House, through thegivelocalnow.org website. We are now only a few short weeks away from the BIG Day of Giving, and I am asking you to join me on May 6th by taking five minutes to show where YOUR heart is by making a donation, large or small, to the Kiwanis Family House. Your donation of any amount will help the Kiwanis Family House continue to provide temporary lodging and sup-port to hundreds of families each year during times of medical crisis. Your donation of any amount will help families who would have few other options, such as the family in the following story: Ten weeks after learning they were going to be parents, doctors told 20-year-old Cody and 18-year-old Christan from Corning, California that their baby girl would be delivered with an omphalocele, a birth defect in which the infant's intestine or other abdominal organs grow outside of the belly button. The muscles in the abdominal wall (umbilical ring) do not close properly. As a result, the intestine remains outside the umbilical cord. At the time, doctors assessed that their baby would have perhaps a 25 percent chance of surviving. Four times every day, they shuttled between the KFH and NICU to care for - and learn how to care for - their pre-cious girl. Cody says that time was more exhausting than any physical labor he had ever done. Without the option of staying locally at the KFH and being able to provide this loving support, they may very well have had to stay in Corning and had more limited visits with their precious girl. Won't you join me in making a difference in our world by participating in this historic BIG Day of Giving on May 6th?
