Enterprise

Page 2: Kiva

Every Year everyone in 7, 8, 9 and 10 has an Enterprise Day.

We do those so students can develop Enterprise Skills. We try and make the days as enjoyable as possible.

However we do ask each Student to bring in £1

Do you know where this money goes?

Enterprise Day

Where Does the Money Go?

All Money Goes to…………….

Page 4: Kiva

Kiva holds a database of individuals who are in need of our support. They are asking for money to enable them to run a business.

Each sponsor gives them £25. We have donated to over 100 individuals

over the past three years It enables us to support social enterprise

What is Kiva?

Page 5: Kiva

* Every time this money is repaid we lend it to another Entrepreneur. This money is recycled so we can continue to make a difference.

More Importantly

Page 8: Kiva

We should be extremely proud of this fact. Of all the organisations in the world, of all the rich individuals in the world……..

Our school is in the top 1% of investors. Our money is making a real difference Our money is changing lives When the loans are repaid it will then help

other individuals

We are not going to make these Entrepreneurs millionaires BUT these loans are allowing them the opportunity to provide for themselves.

That is their only wish Our loans are making a difference This year alone, 90% of our loans have been repaid And remember the majority of the Entrepreneurs

have been chosen by the students. We will continue to give you this voice so you

can make a difference.

What can we learn from these examples

Page 15: Kiva

To reinvest the money that has been paid to help even more entrepreneurs.
