Key dates are listed in ‘Calendar Events’ on our Skoolbag app. Weekly reminders are also included in our newsletters to assist you in keeping track at this busy time of the year. Preparations for our Country Fair Fete continue in earnest. As you could imagine there is much to be done over the next few weeks. The Fete committee would appreciate any assistance you can provide leading up to and on the night of the Fete. The next meeting of the Fete Committee will be held in the staffroom at 6:30pm next Tuesday, 17th October. Please come along or call the office on 97444566 and leave your name if you would like to offer your support. A huge thanks goes out to all who have given their time so far or who have already committed to assist us with this exciting com- munity event. Look out for next week’s Fete newsletter which will provide important information. Unfortunately works didn’t proceed as quickly as planned, resulting in restricted access at the front of the school for the first few weeks of term. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding. Importantly those works that need to be completed in time for our Fete are still on track. If there is any information that we may not be aware of that may affect your child’s class placement next year please put the details in writing and forward to the office marked Attention: Mr Glenn McConnell by Friday 27th of October. This is not a teacher / class selection process, but an oppor- tunity to provide information which may assist with your children’s social and academic grouping. While all infor- mation will be carefully considered we can not guarantee that all needs will be met. A number of NAPLAN results are still awaiting collection at the office. Those not collected by Friday 20th October will be sent home with students. To assist us with our forward planning we ask any families / students who are moving to another area and not returning to Kismet Park in 2018 to notify the school office as soon as possible. This information is critical in terms of class struc- tures and staffing. Thank you for your assistance. Kismet Park Primary School is committed to child safety.
