William“KingPoP”Floydistakingtheworldbystormastheforerunnerinpopcultureart.NotsinceWarholhasanartistbeenabletocapturethespiritsofpopcultureiconsoncanvasinsuchbright,vividcolors.Hisattentiontodetail,aswellashisabilitytoprojecttherawessenceofpop-culturethroughcolorsandlines,setsFloydinanartisticclassallhisown. GrowingupintherollinghillsofGoldsboro,NorthCarolina,WilliamFloydhadanearlyappreciationforthetherapeuticqualityofpainting.Byageseven,hewaschannelinghissurroundingsandemotionsintocolorfuldepictions.Asatoddler,Floyd’ssurprisinglydeepvoiceearnedhimthenicknamePoppa,whichwaslatershortenedtoPop.Inanironictwist,thatnicknamehintedatthecoreofFloyd’sartisticinspiration,andwouldbecomethefoundationforhisbrand. WhileattendingtheArtInstituteofAtlanta,William“KingPop”Floydcontinuedtohonehistalentsasbothapainterandadesigner.Localsandvisitorsaliketooknoticeoftheartist’sabilitytocreateuniqueart-workwhilesalutingtherichhistoryofpopculture.In2003Floydbe-gantouringtheeastcoast,creatinganameforhimselfwhileearningaBachelorsofArtsdegreeingraphicdesign.Tremendousbuzzfollowedtheartisteverywherehewent,andpromptedhimtoestablishabrand.Thus,KingPopularDesignwasborn.Atlanta’srichhistoryandheavyinfluenceoncontemporarypopculturecombinedtocreatetheperfectenvironmentforFloydtobasehisoperations,andhequicklybecameaprominentartisticfigureontheeastcoast.WithaneverincreasingclientbaserangingfromtheUnitedStatestotheUnitedKingdom,WilliamFloydisindeedaninternationaltrendsetter.

Inhisindependentpublishedbook“AllTogether”,Floydcombinedpoetry,paintings,andpersonalinsightstoinspirereadersandartloversalike.Releasedin2010,thebookepitomizescoffeetableliterature,andfurthershowcasestheartist’sdiverseabilities. WiththeintroductionofhisPopCultureclothingline,Floydhaselevatedhimselfandhisartempiretonewheights.Themarriageofhissupremeartistictalentandgraphicdesignprowessgivesbirthtoatrulyuniqueandpersonalline.OfferingcustomT-shirtsandJacketswithexclusiveKingPopsignaturestyle,fanscannowtaketheartist’smostpopulardesignswiththemwherevertheygo.
