Rockwell Automation now off ers a single-axis EtherNet/IP servo
drive – the Kinetix 350. This drive was developed to provide motion
scalability – simplifying integration of the entire control system
on one network. The Kinetix 350 is designed to connect and operate
with the new family of CompactLogix™ controllers supporting
Integrated Motion on EtherNet/IP™. Combined as a system, they can
provide you a cost-eff ective motion solution that delivers the
high performance and scalability you need to compete in today’s
industry.
With its compact design, the Kinetix 350 requires less panel
space and can be connected easily. In addition, you can reduce
design, installation and commissioning time by reusing code across
the Logix control platforms throughout your entire machine
portfolio.

Integrated Motion with EtherNet/IP
EtherNet/IP uses CIP Sync and CIP Motion technologies to provide
real-time, closed loop motion control with standard Ethernet. This
topology independent network provides a simplifi ed integration of
the entire control solution on one network, including HMI, PAC, I/O
and motion.
Controller and Software Support
Programmed with RSLogix 5000 software, the Kinetix 350 provides
a scalable motion system to be used with ControlLogix and
CompactLogix PAC.
Further enhance your system with Motion Analyzer software.
Motion Analyzer helps you optimize your machine design by making it
faster and easier to analyze, simulate and select the right size
motion control systems by allowing you to prototype and analyze a
variety of designs.
