Kinds of
stress
- 1 - Stress related to survival – fear of
losing health or in situations when
we face a challenge.
-2 –The internal
stress – constant worring events,
tension, approach to life.
-3 –Stress related to
environment and work – stressful environment in which we work or live. It
may also result from noise, pollution, mess,
conflict.Deadlines, presentations
also cause stress associated with our
work.
-4 –Tiredness and
overwork – stress increases over a long
period of time. Chronic stress appears when trying to achieve too
much, or if we can not manage our time
efficiently.
The effect of stress on our body:- anxiety,- raised blood pressure - heart palpitations,- frequent headaches,- it can lead to stroke and heart attack.
-problems with the digestive system- stomach ache- vomiting- diarrhea- constipation- lack of appetite.
Stress can also lead to:- high blood pressure,- osteoarthritis,- diabetes- overweight- obesity.
Stress also causes:
- difficulty in concentration,- mood swings,- tiredness,- depression.
We can combat stress in many ways, one of the best
and most effective is regular practising
physical exercise.
The influence of physical exercise on the human body:
It prevents the high blood pressure.It improves oxygenation of the body.
It helps to relax mentally.It increases immunity.
It improves metabolism.
In our school, within the Grundtvig project, we offer different ways of fighting
stress. One of them are fitness
classes with music.
