She is a member of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Board of Governors. She has a B.A, a B.Sc. and a Masters in Health Administration degrees from the University of Ottawa. She previously was a health care management consultant and small business owner. Kim and her husband Bob celebrate their 30th Anniversary this year. They have raised three children in Langley.
