5. Applying Knowledge to Practice•Meet with 2 individual children a week and build and maintain a relationship with them. •I will work with clients using both the strength based and empowerment practice.

•Familiarise self with AASW code of ethics, reflect in supervision and learning log on ability to apply code of ethics to practice in the school setting

•Attend and participate in relevant meetings i.e. Kids Matter action team, staff meetings, parent meetings etc.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills•Building of positive relationships with students, staff and parents•Support lunchtime activities and play based learning program, utilising Play is the Way concepts (Strength based practice) to reinforce positive social skills. Conduct weekly mentoring with individual students and group work, ie ‘what’s the buzz?’, art/craft, cooking.
