Thank You Dear Pastor Conrad, Ty, Ladies of the Church and Custodian,

Thank you all so much for allowing us to use your beautiful church to hold memorial services for Edward Sharek.

Pastor Conrad, your kindness and direction throughout the process was truly appreciated. You made us feel at home and welcome during our darkest hours and we are truly thankful for your efforts.

Ty your attention to details and technical abilities made the service come alive and helped make it special. Thank you for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime.

To the ladies of the church who helped us during the reception, we are so glad you were there to provide direction. We are very appreciative.

We would also like to thank the custodian for his hard work. His table arrangements were perfect for our needs.

It is difficult to lose a husband and father, but we were truly blessed to have had you all play a part in celebrating the life of a a wonderful man.

Sincerely, Dorothy Sharek, Linda Morton (Sharek), Steve & Kathy Sharek and family

Friends, Thank you so very much for the sympathy cards. Seems like I had a slow reaction to the treatment but I’m on the mend now. It was great to be back for the service Sunday.

Thanks again, Lloyd Inman

Dear Church Family, Thanks so much for all the cards, visits, flowers, food and words of encouragement during my illness with pneumonia. It is a great comfort to know we have an amazing church family who lovingly cares and reaches out during times of challenge. Thank you for all your prayers and never ending love!

Much love and many thanks! Jeane Conrad

I just want to thank all the very thoughtful people who sent many cards to me during my radiation treatments for breast cancer these past 5 months. Your encouragement was so welcome! Also, my son Chris in Arizona is now cancer free! PTL! And thank you for your prayers!

In Christ’s love, Jan Docksteader

April FISH Report

Our service days last month were April 27-30. At the end of our four days we had served 503 people or 143 families.

Thank you to our new volunteers, Pete Mahlum, Dick and Lois Witt and to Margaret Williamson for the extra hand.

We have been given an extra four days of service in June 15-18. While it is a blessing to serve our community through this mission, it is also a burden on our budget. (The cost is approximately $2,000 for the canned and boxed foods including fresh milk for four days.) We could definitely use your financial help at this time. Please give this prayerful thought. We would like to be financially ready to serve again August 24-27.

Your FISH coordinator, Jan Isaacson

• Books suitable for ages 8 through teens

• A suggested series is the Redwall books by Brian Jacques

• The Narnia Series

• Or other books and/or Christian books that would be suitable for our Ban San Faan children

TRUCK FUND UPDATE FOR BAN SAN FAAN Our truck fund is growing. The truck price total is $25,000. We still need $8,927 to purchase this much needed truck for Ban San Faan. Thank you for your help.
