C u l t u r e V e n u e | 2 0 1 5My senior project was designing a culture venue. The venue presents the new multicultural pattern of Dubai, aiming to reduce the wrong impres-sion and stereotyping in Dubai. It will also clarify that individuals living within Dubai, have their unique “imprint” on what Dubai has now become.

exist.

THE SOCIETY“An Inclusive & Cohesive So-ciety”Dubai is unique in the diversity and cohesiveness of its soci-ety, which was forged on tol-erance, respect, forgiveness and communication since Dubai’s inception, which re-sulted in the creation of an ex-emplary multicultural society. This theme focuses on con-tinuing in Dubai’s tradition of celebrating diversity to enrich the city and drive its develop-ment by harnessing the tal-ents and creativity of its glob-al and diverse population.

The Ceiling of this zone is cov-ered by switch-able pendant lights. The idea

is to allow visitors to light up the

place, and have a vision of, the more people, the bigger the

society, the bet-ter it its for all.

More people switching the

lights, gives the space more

light.

Boundary Function is a scientific experi-

ence that shows, indi-viduals cannot stand by its self, it has to be a relation between

individuals in order for the individual to exist.

Putting all this in sim-pler words, an indi-vidual cannot have

boundaries if another individual in standing

in the space.

The Glass walls will screen a live stream of differ-ent countries in the world by a data show in the ceiling, while the hanged phones hidden within

the lights are a communication device between different cultures, and live.
