children are really beginning to flourish into independent learners. It is indeed gratifying
to watch their progress through various learning experiences.
Children learn through all their senses and they like to touch and manipulate things. But
more than simply moving materials around, hands-on activities activate children brains.
When you combine activities that require movement, talking, and listening, it activates
multiple areas of the brain. The more parts of your brain you use, the more likely you are
to retain information. “Busy Hands, Busy Brains”

Fruit Salad Activity 22nd November 2018
‘Fruit Salad Activity’ is an innovative way of making the children learn about the
interesting variety of fruits available around us and also to make them relish all the
fruits in the form of salad in the most tasty way.
Children brought a variety of fruits such as kiwi, banana, pineapple, etc and teachers
along with children had a good time while preparing the fruit salad, and definitely no
one had tasted a better fruit salad earlier than this special day!
This activity was the great way to teach children Math skills, as they practiced counting
and sorting while preparing the salad. It also helped the children to learn about different
fruits, their texture, taste and encouraged them to eat healthy. A day well spent indeed.
Through this activity many other skills were assessed, such as:
After preparing the fruit salad, it was severed to all children in order to check how
many fruits they could recognize and name.
It was really a fruitful day(literally!)
Trip to Babel Land ….
21st November 2018
Babel Land is a place where entertainment is clubbed together with exercise and interactive play. Kids were
overjoyed to see such a colorful and interactive play area. Equipped with versatile climbers, crawl tubes
which interlock together with slides turned out to be too tempting to resist. The kids had a great time
climbing through tunnels, jumping on the trampoline and just having fun running around.

Kindergarten is a special time in our children’s life as it begins a change of events for them that shape their future. This is the first time your child is in school for a full day every day, and you may not have as much control over what they eat. Packing healthy meals for lunch and snacks throughout the day will help keep them eating healthily. Teaching your child about healthy foods will empower them to make good choices when at school. It is well recognized that a healthy diet not only promotes the health of children but also prevents future problems such as obesity, heart diseases, diabetes, and many other chronic diseases. The best way you can help your growing child is to feed them nutrient-rich foods that will promote their development. Proper nutrition supports your child’s growth and lays the foundation for lifelong health.
