Message from the Chief
Good morning and welcome to the Keyes Fire Protection District’s annual Pancake Breakfast. Thank you for taking the opportunity to support your local fire department and our Firefighters Association. Every year we look forward to this breakfast as a chance to get to know our community as well as a time to raise funds for our Firefighters Association. With your support at fundraisers like this you are helping us raise funds that are used throughout the year to improve our fire department as well as give back to our community. Keyes firefighters are honored to do things like volunteer with the MS Society, raise money to donate to the fight against breast cancer, participate in various events throughout the community and take part in the “Adopt a Road” program, just to name a few. While you are here, take the time to introduce yourself to our group of volunteers, they are the people who staff our station day in and day out, keep our equipment in working order, and respond to emergencies, day or night. If volunteer firefighting seems like something you’d be interested in, feel free to ask any questions you might have, we are always on the lookout for dedicated volunteers to ensure that we can continue to provide the best possible service to our community. For more information, you can also visit our website at www.keyesfire.com, or look for us on Facebook and Instagram. We feel extremely grateful to be able to serve the Keyes Community and are thankful for the support that you and our community continue to give us. We hope you’ve enjoyed your breakfast and we hope to see you again next year!

your smoke detectors and change the batteries?

All men are created equal, then a few become firemen.
Firefighters save hearts and homes.
What you call a hero, I call just doing my job.
Let no man’s ghost return to say his training let him down.
