Yes believe it or not there is now a chance to buy a a pair of jeans that has a built in keyboard.

Thanks to a pair of Dutch inventors who have invented

‘a set of jeans that give a whole new meaning to the phrase 'laptop'.’

The idea of design came from a company called NieuweHeren. Run by Erik de Nijs and Tim Smit

This invention works as the jeans stay connected to the computer via

wireless technology and allow the user to move around while typing. A

mouse is attached to the jeans using an elastic cord.

Background Information

• There a fashionable pair of jeans with a fully functional keyboard speakers and a mouse.

• Were designed so that the user can have more freedom and still move easily, as well as being in control of the computer.

• Even with the extras on top the jeans are in fact the same weight as a average pair of jeans.

• The jeans have been designed for a modern audience and have specially designed a pocket to cover up the mouse.

Disadvantages

• They are not machine washable.

• Having electronical devices so close to you, can in fact harm you and for men decrease sperm count.

• They are pricey.

The reason I have done a slideshare about these jeans is because I think that this is a very quirky and interesting idea that could possibly make

using a computer form a distance a lot easier, as well as it’s a good way to help demonstrate how much media has effect our lives.

Although, I personally would not buy them as I have no problems using a standard keyboard to use for a computer, plus jeans aren’t the comfiest

trousers to wear.
