Year-to-date 2016 -6% -16% 16% 94% 17% HIGHLIGHTS • Ford Motor Company sales in China total nearly 98,000 vehicles in August, down one percent year over year. • Year-to-date sales for Ford Motor Company in China total nearly 720,000 units, a 6 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2016. • Monthly sales for Changan Ford Automobile (CAF) total more than 69,000 vehicles, down 8 percent year over year. • Year-to-date sales for CAF total more than 487,000 vehicles, down 16 percent compared to the same period in 2016. • Jiangling Motor Corporation (JMC) sold more than 22,000 vehicles in August, a 10 percent increase compared to August 2016. • Year-to-date sales for JMC total more than 185,000 vehicles, up 16 percent compared to the same period in 2016. • Lincoln sold more than 5,200 vehicles in August, more than doubling sales with a 105 percent increase compared to August 2016. • Year-to-date sales for Lincoln surpassed 34,000 vehicles, nearly doubling the number of vehicles sold in the same period last year. • Ford Mondeo sedan continued its strong sales in August with more than 9,200 vehicles sold, an increase of 18 percent year over year. • Sales of the compact Ford EcoSport SUV exceeded 4,400 vehicles, an increase of 43 percent compared to August 2016. • Ford’s imported vehicle sales grew 25 percent year over year, with Mustang sales increasing 80 percent compared to August 2016. • Ford Tourneo sales more than doubled in August, increasing 140 percent year over year. • Sales of every Lincoln model grew by at least double digits during the month, with MKZ, MKC and MKX growing 108 percent, 62 percent and 46 percent respectively year over year.
