WHAT IS KEYHOLDING AND ALARM RESPONSE?Keyholding and Alarm Response is peace of mind, after you lock your business doors for the day. At the end of the working day you simply set your Intruder Alarm and go home for the evening. In the event of an incident occurring out of your normal working hours our Security Patrol Vehicle will be dispatched to your premises and deal with the situation.WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A BREAK IN?Our Security Patrol Officer will follow assignment instructions for your site that are completed on day one of your agreement with us. This means you have the opportunity to manage your expectations as to what should happen. We work with a num-ber of local partner companies to ensure that we guarantee not to leave your site until the issue is resolved – or you have given us permission to. From glazing to boarding, gas & electricity problems, lock replacement to Intruder Alarm failures, we will work with our suppliers on your behalf. We arrive quickly to a scene as we are already mobile when an alarm activation happens, unlike staff or management of a premises may be in the early hours of the morning. If we happen upon intruders we risk assess and we liaise with the Gardaí giving descriptions, vehicle registrations, direction of travel etc ... increasing the chances of apprehension.

If we find a premises has been burgled we secure the crime-scene ensuring evidence is not disturbed until Gardaí can in-vestigate.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT IS A FALSE ALARM?Our Security Patrol Officer will ascertain, where possible, the cause of the false alarm in order to prevent it happening again. The officer will address the issue, reset the alarm and leave the premises. You will only be contacted the following day af-ter 9am to be informed ensuring you are not disturbed during the night. The majority of Intruder Alarm call outs in Ireland are

false alarms, caused by a number of things but most commonly open windows, mice, change in climate and faults on Intruder Alarm Systems. If we feel that your premises is generating an unusually high number of false alarms we will ask your Intruder Alarm partner to attend the site during working hours to work with you to solve the problem. In any event false alarms are always correctly reported and customers can download the latest occur-rences through our customer portal.

DO I REALLY NEED IT?Do you feel safe having you or one of your staff entering your premises at night, possibly encountering intruders or having an accident on site?

Many businesses do not currently recognise the impact on their business and their insurance should an incident happen involv-ing their staff. Lodge Service Security can act as your official company key-holders & Alarm responder not only for you to comply with lone worker safety policies, but also your business continuity will improve, as no longer will senior members of your team have to attend the site in the middle of the night.

MOBILE PATROLSIn line with a customer’s specific requirements, highly visible uniformed security officers in clearly identifiable vehicles can visit and inspect premises at agreed frequencies throughout the night.

This service sends out a clear signal to would-be thieves that the premises are regularly visited by security at random inter-vals thus increasing the chances of detection. The service is also useful for premises where youths may congregate at night time littering the area or causing graffiti. By the Mobile Patrol service consistently moving youths on from the area they will usually find somewhere else to congregate.

Other duties can also be integrated into the Mobile Patrol service such as regular checking & recording of freezer temperatures or fuel levels in generators etc.

At The End of the Day …A Security Officer arrives shortly before the end of your day, whenever that may be. Ensuring the last member of staff has left, he then carries out a full patrol making sure all doors and windows are closed and that all non-essential equipment is turned off. He then locks up and leaves, setting the alarm if necessary.

At The Start Of The Working Day …We return the next morning, unlock the premises, and allow authorised staff to enter.

Out of HoursIf you have a visitor that needs to view your premises, or a member of staff who needs to access a computer or retrieve a document from the premises outside of normal training hours, we can attend the premises to open and re-secure once per-mission has been given by the company contact. This can usu-ally be accommodated at short notice.
