PISTON ~ rn. w I.L A EXl'RUDEHONE" Bulldog Racing Team Leader Notes The summer is officially over which means its time for our second edition of the Kette- ring Forml1la Newsletter. This past summer has had its ups and downs for the team, but we are in good position for a very productive B- section. Most of the designs are in, a few of which we will highlight in a new section called Technical Tidbits. Another new feature in this edition is Suonsor Suotlie:ht. where we provide a more in depth look at some of our sponsors. In this edition we will feature Nevada Automo- Sponsor Spotlight In this edition of Formula Times, we would like to in- troduce a new feature called Sponsor Spotlight. With this we intend to highlight one of our sponsors each quarter. This quarter we are highlighting the Nevada Automotive Test Center. NATC is a leader in their field of automotive vehicle tive Test Center. Formula SAE would also like to welcome new Asection members to the team: me- chanical engineer Jason Bar- tak from Long Pine, Ne- braska, who will start his first co-op term with Ford Motor Company in October, electri- cal engineer Matthew Bennet from Aromas, California who is currently seeking a co-op employer, graduate student Prashant Ahire who hails from India, mechanical engi- neer Matthew Monte from Lompoc, California who is currently employed at Orbital and equipment testing and simulation services. Founded in 1957 and with offices across the United States and business from around the world, they are able to test vehicles from passenger cars to Class 8 trucks and government vehi- cles equipped with advanced weapons systems. Sciences in California, and Chris Chiasson from Louisi- ana, a graduate student for the energy systems lab. Weare currently half way to our $30,000 fundraising mark for this year. Weare still raising money for new media center in our office which includes a new com- puter, media software and copier/printer/fax. I would also like to announce our decision to go to Formula Student in England in July of 2005. We plan on taking 10- 15 students to compete at a total cost of $10,000.
