groups and services, from cancer support to caring for an
aging parent. We aim to provide comfort, education, and
resources to patients and their families. It makes a world
of difference to be with people who can relate to what you
are going through.
With nine hospitals and more than 60 facilities in nine
counties, you are never more than a few miles from a
Kettering Health Network facility. You don’t need to leave
the support of your family and friends to receive award-
winning care.

The Circle of Victory Fund, part of Greene Medical
Foundation, provides financial help to cancer patients who
live in Greene County, OH. Since its inception, Circle of
Victory has helped hundreds of men, women, and children
across Greene County, not only helping to underwrite
cancer treatment, but also medication, wigs, prostheses,
and other financial burdens carried by cancer patients

Women’s Wellness Fund
The Women’s Wellness Fund’s goal is to provide vital
and potentially lifesaving women’s cancer services to

Parkinson’s Fit Club
At NeuroRehab & Balance Center, we offer three levels
of Parkinson’s fitness classes to help you continue
and progress the benefits you achieved in rehab. Each
level of class focuses on posture, gait, freezing, rigidity,
balance, fatigue, and confidence. $15 per session or $90

Reach for Function
The class focuses on repetitive use of your affected hand
or arm to teach the brain to “rewire” itself following a
major neurological injury such as a stroke or traumatic
brain injury. A series of repetitive, structured, practice-

The purpose of the FITT for Life program is to ease the
challenges of everyday living. This program focuses on
strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility for seniors,

The class meets two times a week for six weeks, with an

Staying healthy is an important part of any athlete’s

Community Outreach Exercise ClassesThe following exercise classes are senior-friendly but
participation is not limited to any age.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga invites you to emerge from the “flight
or fight” response of day-to-day life, rest deeply, heal, and
rejuvenate. Suitable for those with chronic illness or injury,
cancer survivors and caregivers, and anyone needing more
rest in their lives. Please bring two throw pillows, a firm
blanket, a yoga mat, and an eye pillow. This class meets
for six weeks and class size is limited. $35 Years Ahead
members; $45 all others.
Tai Chi/Chi Gong
Tai chi, a Chinese form of exercise, promotes physical health
through slow, even movements and breathing exercises.
This 10-week program is designed to increase flexibility,
improve balance, and reduce stress. $80-100. For more

Yoga
This back- and joint-friendly class eases chronic pain,
supports relaxation and better sleep, promotes better
breathing and mental focus, and improves balance, strength,
flexibility, and mobility. Participants are welcomed to start

Kettering Health Network Stroke ResourcesStroke Survivors Support GroupThis group offers an opportunity to discuss medical and
non-medical issues. Topics are determined by the interest
of the group members. Refreshments are provided. For

Community Women’s ResourcesBrigid’s PathBrigid’s Path provides inpatient medical care for drug-
exposed newborns and non-judgmental support and
advocacy to improve family outcomes. They are dedicated
to providing withdrawal services to infants in an intimate
home-like setting and to engaging these infant’s families
in and easy-to-access setting where they can begin the
journey of bonding with their child. For more information,

Many Shades of BlueThis program provides support and referrals for mothers
who are having a difficult time adjusting to motherhood
and may be suffering from postpartum depression.
The mom-to-mom setting allows women to talk with
other mothers who are experiencing or have experienced

Young Widows’ Support GroupThe Young Widow’s Support Group provides grief
support for widows ages 50 and younger. This group
offers emotional support through your times of grieving
and loneliness, hope for a brighter tomorrow, and
friendships with others who can cry, laugh, and heal with
you. The YWSG is an independent support group and is
not sponsored by or affiliated with any church or civic
organization. Women of all faiths are welcome. There is
no charge to attend the meetings. Childcare is not
