Work and MotivationMotivational problems can lead to performance issues for the company. A lack of motivation can lead to delays in the employee's completion of work and simple but expensive mistakes. The employees are the best capital for the company and is very important to have them motivated in order to have higher productivity levels.

ProblemsWe have made some surveys to the employees to measure their level of motivation and the result was that 80% of them dont have any motivation or low motivation.

SolutionsFor the sales team, we have put some monthly goals, team and individual goals, if a sales executive reach his individual goal, he will have a bonus that consist in taking an amount of cash or purchase orders for La Sirena Stores.For each company area, it wil be an Employee of the month that will be recognized by the president, and will be honored with putting his name and picture in different places of the building.

LOGISTIC NETWORK COMPANY doesnt have a defined organizational structure. All departments report directly to the CEO of the company. This structure is causing problems to the company, the main reason of this problem is the lack of communication between departments.

Organizational Structure Problems

We will be implementing a Functional structure in LNC. This organizational structure enables the distribution of authority. The moment a person starts a job, he/she would know from day one to whom he/she will report. Also we will be adding department leaders this will help the communication and will delegate authority to more people. For example, marketing employees will discuss various issues with their director. The director, in turn, will discuss these issues with the vice president or upper management.

Also we will be implementing an "open door" policy between executives and lower-level employees.

Organizational Structure SolutionsLOGISTIC NETWORK COMPANY Finding the right candidates is a big challenge for this company. They need skilled, focused workers, and these people aren't always easy to find. This is especially true with the increased demand for contract workers. The year 2014 has seen higher numbers in contract staffing than we have seen in many years.

Recruitment Problems

Our recruiting company can overcome this problem by stepping up our networking and advertising, especially through social media. The farther we can reach, the more quality candidates we'll find.For us that specialize in permanent placements and are having a hard time finding skilled, quality candidates in todays market, offering to fill the vacant role temporarily until the right candidate can be found may be the route to take. A contract worker with less expertise may ease the time constraints allowing you more time for your search as well as satisfy the clients need to have someone fulfilling that role immediately.
